Ahh yes .... the wonderful pleasures of the mandolin. I suggest looking into Chris Thile. He is the newest young master of the instrument. He has been with a group called Nickel Creek in the past and has struck out on his own since the break-up. His current band uses bluegrass instrumentation, but explores outside the confines of the genre. Look 'em up.
