She even gave her the Crescent Moon Wand in case something happened to her.

Usagi and Rei are very close like sisters. that is why they fight but all the while usagi always shows how she is closest with rei because their personalities are so different. When ever tshe talks about the inners she say rei and the others and she was most upset when rei died in the stars season. Yes she did she even stated it. It is how a lot of stron relationships start. They annoy eachother and then gradually they get to know eachother and love eachother. But it definately started out as Usagi disliking Mamoru. Mamoru began to be more playful with his comments though rather than rude and thats when usagi teased him back and the love started to grow KAWAII!

That's so wrong.

Some ppl like myself were raised watching DiC's Sailor Moon, so obviously they ruined nothing when it attracted a large amount of kids' attention which was its original intention. Yes, in the views of those who have now matured and got around to seeing the original, they supposedly "ruined" it, but those same people creamed for DiC's when they were small and grasped the humour of the dub. Now some have turned against it because they're older and no longer find it appealing.

I grew up watching the DiC dub i loved it. but im older now and i realize that they cut A LOT out! The last episode of the first season made no sense because they cut so much out it leaves you going where are the senshi? did they die? were they kidnapped? I just don;t believe it was the right way to dub the sailor moon series. it doesnt do it justice. You should watch the original. It is better than the dub. The dub just dumbed everything down. they should have made it for teenagers

I did watch all five series of the original. Keeping up with the subtitles can be a pain in the ass though. =P But I hate it when some people call down the english dub since it's what got us to love the show in the first place. Without it, we would never have even seen the original. So it accomplished something.

i really only like to watch the dub because since it's in english, it's more personal... i grew with their voices and i'm used to hearing them. that's why i was upset when i heard that i couldn't see the last episode in english because i really wasn't used to their jap voices and the annoyance of having to read the subtitles.

oh i thought ypu meant in general like the entire eng dub was better and i just thought umm not really. because you didnt say you were talking about the music so i assumed you were talking about the enitire show. I also started watching this show when i was little and im hooked ^-^ i just think a majority of the fans prefer the original Japanese. i just dont think that the dub did it justice. I also want sailor moon to be seriously redubed even though it wont happen and i want to lear japanese

yea me neither i still like the show a little but as i grew im now more of a bleach, naruto, dragon destiny girl. The whole love and friendship gets old and personally i like seeing enemies being killed with weapons or magic not hearts or retarded 1 min long spins and girly wands. I really want it re-dubebd too though cause her voice is omg..*suicidal thoughts* lol but yeah the music is good on the dub the everything else is good in the jap version ^^

She wasn't saying "crystal", she was trying to say "mars." In Japan, usually they sound out almost every consonant in an English word. For example: in Japan, "wedding dress" would be pronounced "we-din-gu du-re-su." So Sailor Mars' voice actor is saying "mar-su."
