Your working for somebody else and all you have done is piss and moan about his equipment!, maybe thats why you have no work on yourself, have a bit of respect for the other guy or get your own work off your own back.
Comment about the wattage useage of the lights is correct but then again DJ's dont ever get the electric bill so no worries there.
@SP330Y i wasnt taking mobile work at that stage , i was doing trance events for a year. just help this guy out. not sure if i was pissing and moaning , just presenting the facts.
What is rong with the old high power lights, we are not paying for the power are we. and unless your running like 5 of those durby things you will be fine. I mean you get 3200watts out of a regular 13amp socket and most my gigs have atleast 2 so that is 6400watts avalibly.
Mobile DJ, Johnny B is in da house! Well, in the golf clubhouse anyway (lol). The things we do when people throw money at us hmmm.... Seriously though, it's great to see you back mate... Lugging speakers, amps n shit around in the back of the dodgy, it's good for you! Great to see a mobile gig log up from you buddy - take care (It's a jungle out there!)
Yeeah!! The Johnny B Mobile Giglogs are back!! Great Job! I Still have a double derby, a mushroom and a set of showtec spacebeams somewhere. Replaced them (last year) with Starballs, a Galaxian 3D and a Quad Gem. grtz Pieter.
did you get a chance to spin your own music without having to use the pre-made cd's???
If I just caught the last part of the video with the dancing/light show going on...I would not have thought it was your setup for sound. Even though it was posted on your channel...you could tell with the camera moving around the sound levels changing all because they were on the ground and the sound was being absorbed by the people in the crowd and not filling the entire room.
Nice to see you doing a gig log again mate. I run a multi show set up and it takes time to replace all the lighting but deffinatly worth reinvesting into your set up like you said., Hope you are well.
Funnily enough, LED Lighting is quite cheap, and about the same price as most halogen (not Martin).
I didn't like the idea the speakers were on the floor, that's a big 'no no' in My opinion. But once the smoke was out, and all the lights were on, it looked Great.
