I wasnt trying to say that the styles sound sound identical, but there are so many sub genres out there that dont actually sound different enough to deserve its own genre. everyones trying so hard to do something new but since music is reaching a level where its so difficult to really create something thats never been done, they seem to just make variations on themes that have been around for years and stick a new label on it. I just find humor at the 200 genres that exist on itunes now. =P

yes, there are a few parts in his songs that he doesnt use falsetto chords but he uses his falsetto chords in all of his songs, thats why he sings so high, yes, there are people that naturally sing higher then others but it would take alot of effort to sing that high as a man, if you werent using your falsetto chords, and it wouldnt sound good, it would sound as if you were straining, because you are, and it would deteriorate your vocal chords after a short time,

that is such a subgenre restricted list. by no means are those 5 the best voices in ALL rock today. there is a ton of amazing voices in modern rock. jonsi birgisson of sigur ros has some of moost beautiful falsetto vocals in modern rock, jonas bjerre of mew has fantastic vocal control, lacey mosely of flyleaf has a stunning voice, etc. you just cant limit it to those voices when you say "rock today. maybe best voices of post-hardcore. i will give you that.
