Trent Reznor and I came up with the stage name Mariqueen. The name came from Kurt Cobain's aunt Mari and I wrote songs for Queen. I also wrote Closer and Head Like A Hole for Trent and together we named NIN.

Marriage has ruined Trent Reznor. He abandoned the direction and brilliance of NIN for the sub-par vocals of his wife. This shit proves Reznor's voice really made the music... she's far too soft-spoken. I WANT SCREAMS. And better lyrics. "I don't think I can save myself, I'm drowning here"? Overdone, fucking cliched. You used to inspire me, but now I'll have to dwell in the past.

And I don't give a fuck what anybody says but NIN and many rock acts of today are water down, and it has nothing to do with age. Dave Navarro said it right from an interview that the whole rock spirit is dying. And if Al Jourgensen, Lemmi, and many others can still keep it real and passionate at their old age its no excuse for Trent.

He has evolved and branched out in new directions, while staying true to himself. and his music as always reflected where he is in life. And look what he does for his fans! trent reznor. never let me down. back at it again and giving me the same feelings as when i first heard him. His music has a vulnerable feel too it. I cant describe, but its good because its something we have all felt or are feeling. Feeling like your not alone in a vulnerable state of mind, gives you comfort at your worst.
