  • I love the footage of Sharon Tate! <3

  • George Lucas fucked everything that had been achieved by others during the 70's!

  • That Arthur Penn story was great. So funny!

  • Sam Peckimpah is hardly mentioned in the book, wonder why they put him in the opening instead of Bert Schneider, Bob Evan or someone else...

  • Turn on your television and belive the lies. Pentagon, the neocons promote war, but most of them are gay men partying down at homosexual, satanic Bohemian Grove,

  • never saw that one with Sharon, very nice

  • I wish u'd put the rest on here

  • Love the sharon Tate moment!

  • what is the music at 02:45?

  • thanks for posting these - much appreciated -

  • Check out Scorsese at 9:44 haha

  • awe! so nice to see Sharon Tate

  • Thank you very much!!! ;-)

  • Sorry!

What's the name of the song at 00.41??

    No one knows???

    help me...

  • its, 'lifes been good' by Joe Walsh

  • Thank you very much!!!

  • "What the fuck is an homage?"

    Haha

  • I've been wanting to watch this for years. This aired on Trio TV right?

  • I am shocked as to why they can make two documentries (this one and "A Decade Under the Influence") about the movies during the 1970's and still not make one about film in the 1960's. That's like building the Vietnam and Korean war memorials and not planning the World War II momument at all.

  • It is about the sixties as well. Bonnie & Clyde came out in '67. It's about how "Sex, drugs, and rock and roll" changed the film industry. It happened in the sixties and seventies until Spielberg made the director obsolete.

  • @Rarab2

Agree with you, and will add to that thought by saying that Spielberg and Lucas killed American cinema.

  • @Rarab2 Yes Speilberg did fuck things up royally, but his motives were bastardized by the producers themselves. Blockbusters existed before Jaws, but changed after it aswell.

  • @kingcaesar5 Oh shut the fuck up. There is ZERO stopping you from grabbing a camera or even a camera phone and making a brilliant film and posting it on youtube. What was fucked up? Nothing. Only your attitude.

  • @amaxamon you obviously have very little idea of how the movie industry works. I could shoot a film, but who the fuck will watch it, a couple of my friends who would never give me an honest opinion. The fact that the studio bosses were no longer they film fanatics like mayer, warner, thalberg, but instead business men, working in wall street and for food conglomerates who only gave a fuck about winning the box office battle and little pride in excellence, is whats fucked up.

  • @kingcaesar5 oh go fuck yourself. william blake didn't have an audience. many great artists never had an audience. you're not an artist you're an attention whore who wants a big daddy to finance your ego trip. as i said, NOTHING stops you from doing something worthwhile but your own whiny bitch crybaby attitude. you're obviously a fucking whiner. get off your ass and DO something, it might open some doors for you.

  • @amaxamon how easy it is to hide behind a computer screen. Well old chap, I'm not going to bite the hook this time, the only reason i'm not foaming at the mouth is because you have no idea who the fuck i am and lets leave it that way, anymore of your bullshit will be gleefully ignored.

    And fuck William Blake.

  • @kingcaesar5 Yeah, it IS easy to "hide behind a computer screen" -- "these people ruined cinema wah wah boo hoo!" i know who the fuck you are, a whiny gutless wanna-be without the balls to accomplish anything but lots of energy to sling mud at people who have. you couldn't understand Blake, so best leave him alone anyway. any time you want to prove yourself, DO SOMETHING!!

  • i would love to watch this!! please upload as soon as u can. does this have anything on Michael Cimino? and Heaven's Gate?

  • Can You Put the Whole Documentary

    because this is really interesting!

  • Why don't y'all just Netflick it? Think of this as a teaser vs. asking the poor guy to upload the whole thing. This is the Modern Age -- virtually everything is on DVD.

  • BruckheimerNation: THANK YOU!!!!!!!

  • That's the youngest pic of Scorcese I've ever seen. Great to know that he was just a seventies punk that reverent people in the current generation wouldn't ask advice from.

This kind of DUI message about filmmaking should go out far and wide: we're in a new age and everyone needs to know they can and should make films.

  • this looks like a great documentary. please download the remain parts.

  • wheres the next part

  • The documentary is two hours long.

I just put the beginning and end
