not worth it to get a modchip yet there may be a possible softmod soon thanks to the TP hack. Though nintendo has changed their terms of agreement and said they have the right to withhold service from those who mod their wiis so I would wait a bit before modding your wii. For now if you want to paly wiiware just download the wads/installer and make sure you keep the wad files so you can use the wad uninstaller before you update so it doesn't leave a ticket

May 12th is WiiWares launch date...but no 1st party titles and only a few 3rd party titles have been confirmed for the 12th so far.

PS: Nintendo Channel will likely launch before May 12th
