  • I was just wondering how much of a rake you had before the install to end up with the front sitting higher than the rear.

  • @climbetheapple The kit came with a front and rear spacer, and in the vid i had only installed the front just to see what it would look like, and the manufacturer was spot on and I still needed the rear 1 inch spacer.

  • Did you have to flip you strut 180 degrees to get the spacer bolts to line up?

  • @jstubbe1 Yes I had to rotate the strut 180, with the triangle bolt pattern it is required.

  • i just installed a 1.5 daystar leveling kit and everthing is level except my pasenger front well its about half inch off will that go away after its broken in or did i do something wrong????

  • If I did that to my truck, what size of tires do you think would look a little more praportional

  • @Xbox360GamingLive I think the maufaturer of the kit recommends a 33 inch tire, but I have read on dodgeforum that people have stuffed a 35 under there with no problem. I think it would look good with either. As soon as I can afford it I will go bigger, just not sure how big yet.

  • Did you need a spring compressor when you disconnected the strut?

  • @kdsooner For the front I just dissconected everything and the strut came out, but for the back I used a spring compressor, made it real easy and took half the time as the front.

  • Does it ride any different or feel more stiff, like not as soft ? Good vid btw, thanks.

  • @marvo75 The big thing was the alignment, it was way off till I had it aligned, except for that I havent noticed any difference in the ride.

  • @ericwmolina Ok thanks man, nice truck btw.

  • When i did my leveling kit I got 1-1/4" spacers for the front and it gave me exactly 2-1/2" lift love the look and the dodge trucks should come stock like this. Cost me $67

  • Plasti-dip!

  • How much better are these 09+ Rams compared to the 06-08 Rams?

  • @99dodgeram360 Thats really not a comparison I can make, never having owned an older Ram, but what I can say is that I love this truck, 390 horse 400 foot pounds of torque, independent rear suspension, I love the interior compared to other full size trucks, and you cant get any better looking, but that is all my opion, and I am sure someone elses will be different.

  • @ericwmolina I do really like the interior on the new ones, and the power is an upgrade over the previous gen hemi, thanks for the input

  • Comment removed

  • @ericwmolina I didnt mean to say "independent rear suspension" I meant to say coil over VS leaf spring, that usually plays a big part in ones decision when it comes to towing. The coil over is not as stout as a good ol' leaf spring.

  • Nice video. How much lift did the front spacers end up giving you?

  • @JKMudder I got roughly 2 1/4 inch in the front and just over 1 inch in the rear. The truck is noticeably higher, you can tell cause its harder to get in now.

  • if i may ask how much did it cost

  • @dwad1skrubz IT was 119 plus shipping, go to Top Gus Customz website they have all kinds of options, and its a good product

  • I used PLastiDip, check out my other video where I apply it

  • looks good man! hey did u paint/powder coat your wheels? i was just thinkin of it the other day.

  • Lookin good
