Very few singers can do what he has done.....GOD blesses those who are humble....he's one of my favorites...I'd love to play next to him someday !!! Darren Shumbo, country song writer...

I respect George Strait. I mean, I'm sure he's a great guy. But he's an average singer. There's nothing special about the way he sings. There's a million country singers that sound exactly like him. I love for an artist to have as much success as he has and continues to have. But WHAT is so special about his singing??? Nothing. NOTHING is lo. I mean, just listen to it! He's just a simple singer, who sings the songs in the most ordinary way possible. I just don't see the 'singled out'
