  • Here is an truly wonderful pianist. He should eliminate from his list all those live recordings where upon trying to eliminate hiss, he sounds as if he is playing from the bottom of a swimming pool. Why make a career as a Chopinist? There are too many aroumd. Why not instead become an INTERESTING pianist by playing Medtner, Kapustin, and some unknown wonderful Russian composers like Lyadov.

Compare with Berezovsky's repertoire and you will see what I mean.

  • Independientemente de que sea una pieza de SVR, la calidad de la grabación le añade una especie de "misticismo" extra que hace que este video sea absolutamente genial :D

  • What an extraordinary performance!

  • i adore what you do at 0:48 its so original! amazing ! :D

  • stunning performance by the master himself.

  • Hi loveAlexisBledel689. I am delighted that you confuse me with the very Rachmaninoff :-). But that's me playing here. Not him :-). I believe that there is no recording of this study by Rachmaninoff.

  • Really? WOW! You're performance is amazing! I honestly thought it was Rachmaninoff himself playing this one. Anyway, how long did it took you to learn this? Because I'm trying to learn the Op.39 No.8 and I don't exactly know the time it takes to learn it and play it well.

Sorry for my poor english :-)

  • Thanks a lot for this splendid compliment. How much time to play it well? Hum...a lifetime my dear...all the life. Be very patient but always aspired to the top. Remember the phrase of Franz Liszt: "It takes a lifetime to build your home" Good luck in your career IIoveAlexisBledel689
