Actually it was smart to release it on xbox because they received money from Microsoft to develop the game thus making their expenses to create the game lower than other tales So the profit in the end wasn't so bad. Microsoft increased its sales in japan and then when the contract expired, Namco like with many other tales games re-released it on the ps3 with new content of which the base of the game was already done in the xbox version. So the xbox 360 version wasn't that bad of a deal for Namco

Why the hell is the eng port a 360 exclusive? Namco must've been high on some dank to make this decision cause they would've made more profit off of ps3.

Namco's no better they haven't released many games worth while besides some Tales games and sellout their titles *cough* Xenosaga *cough because they simply make bad choices like putting Tales on 360 . Because of that shit there's no eng port, seriously did the world need to see a Tales of Vesperia movie when the game hasn't been ported to the world's most prominent language? Then fans get blamed for profit loss!

If we do get the English version I dont have a PS3 but I will buy 1 just for this game. And not only that if we do get it the Xbox 360 will get DLC for the new costumes that are in the PS3 version this is said by Namco them selves.

Flynn should of had a guy costume they look enough a like already. Yuri in Asch's outfit is weird... but cool. Estell looks normall as tear. Raven should get Jades outfit. The tales series reuse their outfits so much but its fun! Patty looks like she'll make a great anise. I like Estelle's tear outfit!

And this is why I no longer purchase any products from NamcoBandai.

They're corporate money making tactics are getting worse and worse, and are eventually going to become unforgivable. Take a look at Soul Calibur IV having no single player, and online "required" to unlock everything, as well as having to pay to unlock 16% of the game that was already on the disc.

I have a PS3 and a 360, but its the principle of the matter that will keep me from buying this. Don't shouldn't profit evil.

Don't forget the EU who've waited TEN months after JP/NA release of the 360 version (I got it earliest possible, 25th June 09') just to get what will soon be "half" a game, at this rate. Bastards. I mean with waiting this long it seems they could've made the EU xbox version have all this new stuff, then this joke of a delay could be explained. Oh right and we never got Abyss at all, which I'd been lookin forward to until I realised there was no sign of an EU release. We play RPGs here too....

i know symphonia didnt come over but that game didnt change the plot or add a new character or have nearly the amount of new stuff vesperia has.

it even ties in with the anime movie coming out in september

i mean come on vesperia added more dialogue to the game than what was originally in the first one on xbox. that means more than double the voice acting.

i agree with u.but that is not entirely the case for symphonia. the reason why we didn't get the TOS ps2 ver. was b/c the gamecube ver. sold so well the ps2 remake was not really needed.and i think sony in america did not own the right to port the game.also america could have made the ps2 port amazing.dvd format for ps2 ver. is about 4 to 8 gb. the TOS for gamecube was about 3gb. they could have make ps2 ver. entirely fully voiced.

the beach costume and abyss costume is my favourite.also there is no hardware backward compatibility for ps2 games in the ps3 slim. that does not mean a software backward capatibilty is imposible.there r rumors that sony is working on a 250gb ps3 slim. hopefully you can play ps2 games.

rly for $299 only? then it would definitely be in namcos best interest to bring it here since ppl would be much more willing to buy a ps3 for vesperia at that price plus this vesperia ties in with the anime and it also has alot more content in it. worst move ever if they didn't bring it to NA.
