My abusive ex husband tried to kill me. When I left with our 15 mon old baby girl I thought it was gonna get better. But he was so nasty that he used her to still hurt me. Please don't ever tell a mother in my situation that you would have killed the bastard. You never know what you will do in my shoes. For me it was protect her at ALL costs. If I killed him he would be dead yes but I would still 15 yrs later be in jail. Who would have been there this entire time to protect my baby girl?

I sang this for my talent show, because the same thing happend to me. My mom was in the audience, and she cryed, and she couldn't stop crying. This song is so beautiful. My abusive ex husband tried to kill me. When I left with our 15 mon old baby girl I thought it was gonna get better. But he was so nasty that he used her to still hurt me. Please don't ever tell a mother in my situation that you would have killed the bastard. You never know what you will do in my shoes. For me it was protect her at ALL costs. If I killed him he would be dead yes but I would still 15 yrs later be in jail. Who would have been there this entire time to protect my baby girl?
