what i want know is where in east texas. l live in east texas and this intrigues me.as 30 or so years ago there was a siting aprox. 1 to1.5 miles from my home.
@MrShagoB When you've experienced it repeatedly...you know. It's all in the experience! You can even be a believer, but until you experience it...no words can properly describe the feeling you get and EVERYONE has the same reaction, to a greater or lesser degree and depending on the circumstances.
What's so awesome about it is that, anyone can experience it for themselves with a little bit of knowledge, commitment and love!
@MrShagoB No offense taken. The answer is: Because I have filmed a Sasquatch at this place (see "Woodpile Sasquatch"), the woman who lives here has seen them on many occasions, and there are only three creatures who could plausibly produce loud, solid wood knocks such as you hear in the first part of this video: human beings, apes, and Sasquatch. Yes, it is possible that human beings or apes were out knocking on trees in the middle of the night, but not likely.
I wish you would do more, I love your stuff. What I would do if I were you and you think the timing is right is bring your thermal cam. and see you see in the dark.
The acorn thing has me concerned, it could be falling I know the pine cones are always falling on my condo foor in the Sierras.
It is probably acorns. I had then falling for months on the tin roof covering the deck around my house. We have lots of other activity like tree knocking stick structures, gifting and so forth, but I think what you have here is a case of seasonal change. ACORNS
@bigfootagent I worried about the acorn thing too, but that can't be the explanation on the metal roof of the chicken coop, because there are no tree branches over that roof. Especially the imact at 1:53 AM on the second night is very near the recorder, which was placed on the chicken coop roof.
@bigfootagent These are fully, intentionally thrown rocks...I've heard them and had them thrown "at" me enough to be completely certain, especially combined with the knocks and grunts. It's using different pieces of wood, trees and even rocks to knock with.
You can do a simple experiment by recording the sounds of both and comparing them...you'll be able to tell the difference for sure.
I notice by your tone of voice that you might be very affraid! I know I would be!...I think you are right in your analyst of their behavior but I am not sure I could sleep in the woods like you did before with one or many of them trowing trees around and barely missing me by purpose hopefully.
@Treepeekers Thanks, you guys! After I returned home to Vermont, I asked the home-owner to check the chicken coop roof. She found rocks, clods of dirt, and a small piece of wood up there. When I return, I'll video these, audio-test them, and post an epilogue to this video. Treepeekers, I think what you may be hearing at 3:11 is the start of a far-off train whistle.
@impossiblevisits Oh really? I don't hear the whistle. This is close to the mic. It sounds like what I hear them do here in FL. It's like a monotone "Hmmmmm" sound. Then again, they're excellent imitators, too!
You stated that you would like to go out and walk around, you don't seem to be afraid of a squatch? Do you ever get afraid knowing that these animals are a percussive species? Cause a 500 pound squatch could knock you into next month if he wanted too.
Very interesting. You really are very brave. Do they harass the people inside their home at night? Have they been missing chickens? Thanks for sharing, like all your vids. glad to see a new one.
WOO Boy You Got Big OLE B$%&S To Stay up in there and to be Harassed all nite!! I jus Dont Know How You Do It!! Do You Stay Awake all nite?? Those Tree Knocks sound As if They are Rite Next to Ya!! Thanks For the Vids,,,Jenn
@84jmeeks Actually, I was asleep most of this time, but I did hear the two knocks on the first night. In retrospect, I wish I'd gotten out and walked toward the sound, but it was kind of intimidating.
@impossiblevisits I had an encounter back in 1977 while walking my dog in the wood. We heard soemthing breathing and it made a grunt and came stamsing through the brush. My dog started to shake & cry and pulled me out of there. After a few days, the dog would not go back. I went back and saw the patch this creature made which was amazing. I will never forget it.
If you believe BF is doing this and so many other do, ask yourself the question why. If you were BF why would you take the time to make wood knocks or throw stones on structures. What behavior is this exhibiting? Show us the evidence that these creatures are doing what is claimed by yourself and other researchers.
@flycatchful The evidence is that Sasquatch are seen in the vicinity of wood knocks. I myself have seen one on this property. And the only possible source of woods knocks and stone throws is human beings or Sasquatch. I grant you that it's possible that human beings are throwing stones and smacking structures at 2 and 3 in the morning, but that seems unlikely.
The second rooster vocal almost sounded like a mimic. Then again, I don't often hear rooster vocals. Real interesting video and great research. Good job! For a creature who could surely raise a ruckus, just throwing rocks and not really hitting anything - it's just a really quiet way of having a tantrum over something it did not like. I'm really glad it didn't go any further then that.
I appreciate your research. Could you tell us what State. Do not care where in the State. I know you do alot of traveling to investigate. Thank You, Dee

A subtle "grunt" at 3:11...like, "Hmm...why haven't I scared him off yet?" Haha...nice!
Treepeekers 3 months ago
This is all typical Sasquatch behavior. I hear, see and experience the exact same behavior and more, here in FL.
What's most interesting/intriguing though, is the sound captured between 2:54-2:58.
I won't go into detail about it here...but, let's just say, it's not an insect.
:D

I dont know what the hell I was typing, but what I MEANT was if I knew the Squatch
was behind the thermal cam and I was TRYING to sleep in my car!? I would go straight to the moon Alex right through the roof!.
But if you say there are no tress then there would be no "Droppings" on the roof.
I have HUGE Pine trees in Mammoth Lakes over my condo. HUGE pine cones will fall, hit the roof and wake me up from naps.

@guggyp Luckily, there are no overhanging branches over the chicken coop, which is where the recorder was placed the second night.
