There should be a Outbreak 3, or 1 & 2 should be released in the PSN or one of those BSHD collection things so that it can still be played online, I honestly think Resident Evil should go back to its original roots of survival horror, and Outbreak is a multiplayer game that reminds us that survival horror never went anywhere

man, the feeling i got hearing that theme song and seeing all the charecters together... I adored both of these games! They really remind me of the best few years of my life. When online play was still new to me for the most part. This tugs on the heart strings, i signed the petition! Wish someone would at least hack the game for PC private servers!

If they make the file 3 it needs the levels from the first 2 and around 15 new levels or start with 10 and release a new 1 every week or so and also have more characters with diffrent "styles" not just a copy over a players skin. Support The Biohazard!!!

I just wish there was a Resident Evil game where you can make your own character. Even if it isn't free roam (We have Dead Island for that) which is set in Racoon City on the day of the outbreak. Classic camera angles or over the shoulder, online/split screen, weapon diversity, and other crap.

@connorhobson1 Good thinking. But to be honest, Racoon City is what makes RE itself for me. Changing the location is like doing a different game. If it weren't for Leon in RE4 or Chris in RE5, I would think that it was an entirely new game.

I would love to have a File 3. Having more scenarios would be a plus. I liked the creepyness and unease of the Hospital level in File 2. More of that would be nice. Adding a sort of Double Team attack would be nice too. (Kevin holds zombie while David slices it up with knife.)

@kunglaorulz94 pffft I have yet to see a comment saying outbreak sucked in all the vids I've watched thus far, main reason the other RE are lacking the depth of RE Outbreak, Multy play, RE is a zombie game, most people do not want to go play a zombie game campaign and then the game is over and done with. With multy play, you can play with others, against others or if they choose so, customize a character to your liking as well as build character attributes to your liking.

i'm sorry about this. But according to CAPCOM resident evil file 3 is not gonna be publish. they are going to release Resident Evil Operation Racoon City. Its gonna be like an outbreak scenario also but the characters are different. According also they are creating file 3 cause all the survivors has ended their journey in the file 2.

capcom signed with the people that made Socom and there making a game called "Resident evil raccon city" and they said it would be a multiplayer game so there is a good chance that it is outbreak file 3 :)
@IxIPaincakesIxI I believe ORC is played like the previous RE titles, namely 4 and 5 with the over the shoulder aiming system. Will probably play like Mercenaries or Metal Gear Online.

Resident evil died with this game. Literally, it was the last game to sport the bizarre camera angles. What a great game. Did anyone else have a connection with the levels? We played them over and over so much and they never got old. I can be at a hopsital and be like, "wow, this reminds me of the Hive." Haha. When a game can do that, it's time to make another one.

The multiplayer on console isn't popular back in 2003 and 2004.

Outbreak was actually ahead of its time.
Capcom came up with the brilliant idea at the wrong time.
A time that once online gaming on consoles is not as polished refined or supported.
If they made this game in 2009 it would've sell millions with tons of player by now.

@oOC1KnightOo yes i see what you mean by the city being original but if they kept the characters from resident evil outbreak file 2 and they just changed the location a little and incorperate, like umbrella bioterrorsts and that it will have some indication of someone like leon or chris in a news report or they're helping to clear out the area or managing a safe haven you've got to reach, somthing like that, just ideas lol

I would love to have a File 3. Having more scenarios would be a plus. I liked the creepyness and unease of the Hospital level in File 2. More of that would be nice. Adding a sort of Double Team attack would be nice too. (Kevin holds zombie while David slices it up with knife.)

@kunglaorulz94 But personally, to me, it's the best RE if done right and remade, and I don't see the logic behind saying the game "sucked" when it's just like the Rest of RE series just with multy play online, that old style RE suspense,1 player campaign, item collection and co-op help with unfamiliar survivors to keep it original. So pretty much your logic is, "Although Outbreak is the same as the rest of the RE games with improvements, it's bad" How dumb does that sound to you,Rhetorical.

@kunglaorulz94 For years RE has just been this, solo, play for a bit and then it;s done with game, Outbreak changes that, 5 years after Outbreak it could have still been played because anything with online multy play boast long term entertainment unlike games where there is just a solo campaign, some items, secret content and nothing else. Everyone has a right to an opinion, you don't like RE ourbreak, cool, personal opinions about liking something is not a fact though.

@kunglaorulz94 pffft I have yet to see a comment saying outbreak sucked in all the vids I've watched thus far, main reason the other RE are lacking the depth of RE Outbreak, Multy play, RE is a zombie game, most people do not want to go play a zombie game campaign and then the game is over and done with. With multy play, you can play with others, against others or if they choose so, customize a character to your liking as well as build character attributes to your liking.

i'm sorry about this. But according to CAPCOM resident evil file 3 is not gonna be publish. they are going to release Resident Evil Operation Racoon City. Its gonna be like an outbreak scenario also but the characters are different. According also they are creating file 3 cause all the survivors has ended their journey in the file 2.

capcom signed with the people that made Socom and there making a game called "Resident evil raccon city" and they said it would be a multiplayer game so there is a good chance that it is outbreak file 3 :)

Hoping for the best. That's the closest to Outbreak File 3 at the moment.

Resident evil died with this game. Literally, it was the last game to sport the bizarre camera angles. What a great game. Did anyone else have a connection with the levels? We played them over and over so much and they never got old. I can be at a hopsital and be like, "wow, this reminds me of the Hive." Haha. When a game can do that, it's time to make another one.
