It causes permanent tissue damage. If you got electrocuted you wouldn't live, you'd be dead before you hit the ground. Your corpse would be a smoking, charred, black pile of useless plasma. This guy is taking a hell of a chance doing this shit.

Ladies and Gentlemen DO NOT do what this guy did. Don't even go near high voltage power cables. You could find yourself in the discharge path if you get to close. At 220KV with a resistance of the human body at 300 ohms, the amount of current is 733 Amperes. The heart goes into aphib at 60 mili Amperes, just to give you an ideah of how dangerous this is.
