When I saw this on Monsterquest I said, that is definitely an ape-like creature. I was totally convinced through the entire episode until they said it was a bird. Then I looked at it closely and couldn't tell that it was a bird. I kept looking and looking then... bam! I saw the bird as clear as day. Now I can't look at it without seeing the bird. It's a bird that is flying toward the camera at an angle very close with it's wings in a downward stroke almost covering it's body.

Yeah, I guess I see that. Weird how it would have been caught at just that instant when it actually does appear like a hulking ape-ish figure in the bushes. I can see how it doesn't really look like it's in the background though, more like it's in the air in front of the camera - exactly as a bird would be.
