It'sa clcihe that protagonsits (Naruto not being an exception) have unkempt hair. So It's a figthign theme for the protagonist. It makes perfect sense.

Naruto and Utakata both go to attack Sasuke, and Sasuke manages to dodge and block most of thier attacks but cant land a hit on either of them. Naruto grabs two kunai, one in each hand, and so does Utakata and they both attack Sasuke. Then Sasuke begins to use Susano'o but before his Mangekyo can use the jutsu, he is interrupted by Suigetsu, who informs him to return bakc to base and imform Pain of where both Jinchuriki are, Sasuke listens and both parties leave.
