  • @lietzke I assure you, we don't just sit around all day. You wouldn't last a day doing what we do. Just be glad that If you were out there, we would still rescue you. And the last time I checked, ponds don't have 40 ft waves.

  • very nice video in Hd

  • @lietzke. Where's this coast guard that sits around all day soaking up taxpayer dollars, I want to join that one because the Coast Guard I'm in is completely opposite of your "coast guard." The coast guard does have the highest qualifications standards and my geography is screwed up but the Bering Sea and Pacific Oceans are country club ponds? Thanks for the enlightenment.

  • i would kill for that job

  • ok so everyone knows this is NOT FAKE!!!!! my husband is in the coastguard and does this exact thing for a living. its very important training that these men do so they can save peoples lives...Dont disrespect the guard!!!!!

  • @Ashley6732 Tell you husband "Thank you". I don't think any branch of the military should be disrespected. I know that the CG is not really a part of the Armed Forces. I believe it is under Homeland Security. I think? but to me they should be listed right up there with the rest and give just as much respect and attention. They have the best helocopter pilots there are and the best swimmers. I take nothing away from the other branches swimmers, mind you. ALL should be respected! Thanks.

  • @lietzke

These people risk their lives to save other people. WTF?

  • @mistressluckykitty With all due respect Mistress, we can do without them. Easily.. These boys need to finish high school or get into the workforce. The free loading needs to stop. Thank you.

  • @lietzke excuse me?

  • @lietzke You do know that the coast guard is the toughest service to get into, with the hardest and best academy of any service? Besides, have you ever even seen a coast guard commercial? they dont recruit. People come to them. Katrina, the USCG saved over 33,000 lives. There are only about 36,000 coast guardsmen active duty. Yep you can really do without us. Let me guess you are in the navy. pissed off that you are away at sea for 10 months at a time while jodie is all over your wife...

  • @nikei123 I think you are watching too much TV.. The coast guard will accept anybody who is useful for little else.. Not one of you can bench press his own weight.. At least nobody at Air Station Detroit which is the one I have had exposure to. I know one rescue swimmer, he is a complete douche bag, couldnt fight his way out of a wet paper bag which leads me to ask the question.. WTF? Why do we need these little idiots? Katrina? 33,000 lives? YOURE DREAMING!!! WAKE UP!!!

  • @lietzke so you knew one swimmer. He may not have been the brightest but at least he would have had his heart in the right place and was doing something he loved to do and would give each mission 100%. Im not an american but I guess you work in the Air Force or something and when its you in the water whos going to come to your rescue if the coastguard has been disbanded? PJ's? Lol. Been able to bench press isn't everything. Its all about where your heart is. For the record I can bench my weight

  • @Olyapp No comprende brother, I am not in the military. I am in commercial lending. Day in and day out I see business owners fighting for their lives. Nobody cares about some idiot drowning in a pond. All we care about is these ridiculous little goofballs freeloading off the taxpayers. 99.999% of the coast guard sits around all day doing nothing. Maybe, just maybe one of these clowns has to go drag some drunk out of a country club pond. THAT'S not work and THAT'S freeloading!!!

  • @lietzke you're a retard

  • @lietzke Get some respect for the people who are willing to risk their lives to save ours. They go through some of the most gruelling training all to have the chance to save lives. Regardless of how often they actually have to go into life or death action, when the call is there, they are ready and they risk their lives for US. Get some fucking respect.

  • that water is like 40 degrees

  • respect the best

  • Risky job

  • KODIAK

  • thoese guys have the best job in the world
