ubuntu - install .exe (wine) and play on linux great games

I don't know about you guys, but all of the videos with the best information has some dude that's really hard to hear giving the information, and seem to just ramble with their thoughts aloud. I'm half tempted to make videos myself to explain how to do all this stuff just so it's clear for everyone else. Y'know, so peeps don't have to rewind as much as I am to get everything I need, lol

@ChocosoftPC according to the wine website, sims 3 runs very good on linux. which version of the game do you have?

Get Windows then Ubuntu isn't any good for games etc you should of dual booted.

@sorryunlucky i cant get windows , my computer only supports windows 2008 and windows 7 , windows 2008 isnt availible anywhere , and windows 7 is expensive ! if you know a way to get it free please tell me , but it cant be virtual box .

@sorryunlucky Windows crashed after I got my OEM laptop, it didn't come with recovery (well, the virus deleted that) and they weren't willing to give a CD for recovery, so I installed Linux :)

i can istall games but cant play ,linux is not good for games but its beter than windows and much faster

agree its harder to manage! but you can play!

probably you have a sound issue or somthing...try to ask on linux forums about your problem... which game you are not able to play?
