Hey man i tried the final part of the video when u press the program button then quad and after u hit enter to fill what a,b,and c are but then it says error: SYNTAX?????? !!!! help how do i fix that?

@Lara123722 x^2+16x+8 is supposed to give you a decimal value, because factoring it out into the form (x + a)(x + b), a+b = 16 and ab=8.

the only way multiplication is lower than addition is if one of the values is less than one.

if the equation was x^2+8x+16 then you would get integer answes (-4 and -4)

you included useless code in there such as sto>D. you can just make it display directly... just saying. also if you update to the newest software then it automatically displays your answers in imaginary numbers without having to change the language. However, i didnt know this and i wrote a program which:

displays solution(non real, real in ration)

prompts if they want decimal form

Just making sure, but the ^ sign after the -b- is supposed to be a square root sign.

You have two extra parentheses after the 2AC in the 3d and 4th line of code. :)
