  • I would love to use this music as background musik for a litlle fotopresentation of my students that I've made. Do you or anybody else out there know how I can do that without interfering with copyrights etc..

  • @BonjourBit You don't have to "believe" anything particular. I am an atheist but I love meditating and love buddhist culture. I also believe we have a higher self and higher conscious and that we are all connected if we unlock our true self via meditation and love and don't pollute our bodies. I just don't believe in an afterlife. I wish I could, sounds lovely but it does not work with science. Neither does ANYTHING in the bible. Peace :)

  • @BonjourBit Dude.... as a Buddhist I don't "believe in Buddha", at least no more than I'm sure you believe in Plato! I believe certain notions about the true nature of consciousness and reality (but strikingly similar stuff to what quantum physicists "believe") and I believe in a moral code. Just want to say, don't even feel for a second like Buddhism crosses your path on your faith, please, that's a misunderstanding about how the dharma works :)

  • beautiful...thanks...omm.

  • could anybody give me a link to any female singers exactly like

this but with no music ?

  • Buddhist are not against any religion, if a person believes his or her religion to be true then to that person, that is there truth. Debating another person religion is not the buddhist way. :)

  • AND BESIDES BUDHISM ENVOLVED FROM HINDU-(ISM) YOU FUCKING DUMB ARS- REINCARNATION, NIRVANA, HELLS AND GODS- BUDHISM MEANS THE ENLIGHTED - LOOOOKS LIKE YOU NEED TO ENLIGHT YOUSELF MARON!!

  • LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE NEEDS TO LEARN MORE ABOUT HISTORY, JESUS EXIST(ED)

  • @MrMaxiMau Yes, but I'm pretty sure Christianity corrupted his stories. Made him sound more 'valuable'.

  • @CindersApocalypse yea Me know they've rewritten the Bible a couple of times. But me think religions were made to control the humans mind- there r hell and heaven/paradise in all religions. Ever wonder why?

  • BUDDHISTS NEVER ACCEPTED SLAVERY UNLIKE THE BIBLE WHICH ENDORSES IT. WE HAVE DIFFICULTY DUE TO PAST LIFE KARMA BUT WE CAN ALWAYS OVERCOME IT AND MOVE FORWARD WITH GOOD KARMA IN THIS LIFE. THERE IS NO PROOF JESUS EVEN EXISTED AND JESUS IS JUST A COPY OF BUDDHA'S STORIES AND MIRACLES.

  • Eine Musik,die unter die Haut geht.-WUNDERSCHÖN!!

  • very nice...thanks!

  • THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL

thank you Tim for sharing this one with us

    i subbed , so beautiful

  • Listening to the chants gives a tranquil and relaxed feeling.

  • BUDDHA IS MUCH MORE POWERFUL THAN JESUS. JESUS WAS KILLED ON THE CROSS WHILE BUDDHA LIVES ON. EVERYONE WHO BELIEVES IN JESUS SHOULD KNOW THE BIBLE ENDORSES SLAVERY AND KILLING. YOUR ANCESTORS WERE KILLED BY CHRISTIANS AND YOU WORSHIP HIM. TURN TO AMIDA BUDDHA FOR TRUE SALVATION. BUDDHA IS THE TEACHER OF GODS AND HUMANS. BUDDHA IS SUPREME LORD FROM LONG BEFORE JESUS.

  • @MultiPopculture @MultiPopculture There are many levels of truth. Our culture shaped our perception we grew up in. I grew up in a strict protestant family & eventually turned to Buddhism&Taoism. For those who follow Jesus there truly is a deep inner connection to a far higher plane of existance. Unfortunately too many get caught in the "little face/mind" & unable to transcend the limitations of mind. The secret lies in deeply seeking "What is truly behind this?"

  • @MultiPopculture but that's just IT. The death on the cross gave him the most power he could get! Why? Cuz he was so HUMBLED and full of LOVE for people SO HE DIED FOR THEM/US even tho HE WAS GOD ITSELF <333 And you say buddha?? Someone so distant (spiritualy) from humans can and never will be God. Tell me then...where does buddhism get its "power" from?

  • @MultiPopculture But!!!!! the budhists also accepted slavery... -------they are taught to accept their lives- and believe it is karma, this is one of the few thing I don't like about Budhism.

I was born in poverty- bcos of what I did in my past life??? and I just have to accept it?

Fuck NO I WON'T ACCEPT IT!

  • @MrMaxiMau a real Buddha would never except slavery.

  • @StephenMac10 but the buhdists did/do

  • @MrMaxiMau BUDDHA NEVER ENDORSED SLAVERY YOU MORON. THE BIBLE GOD AND JESUS BOTH TALK ABOUT OWNING SLAVES, BEATING SLAVES, SLAVES BEING YOUR PROPERTY, BUDDHA NEVER EVER ENDORSES SLAVERY. DON'T MAKE STUFF UP YOU LIAR. WE ALL HAVE KARMA FROM A PAST LIFE THAT WE CAN OVERCOME WITH KARMA FOR THIS LIFE? OR WHY DID GOD MAKE YOU POOR WHEN HE LOVES EVERYONE AND CAN DO EVERYTHING? BUDDHA & KARMA MAKE MUCH MORE SENSE.

  • @MultiPopculture BUT THE BUDISTS DID YOU FUCKING MARON

  • @MrMaxiMau its not the buddhas fault they disobeyed his laws to not own slaves(brhama net sutra),but is is jesus fault cause he as god told his followers to own human beings as slaves,so in truth you can place the blame on this relgion cause IT TOLD them to do these things, look up uganda and the killing of gays because of christianity LEV 20:13 this is why they are doing it look up DUET 13:6-18 this is why christians in S korea have killed monks and burned down our temples, peace and love

  • @Buddhist1986 HI i beleive in crist ,buth also belive in peace ,,and i now something ,religions are here to divide humans ,i wish i could learn more abouth budism, to gain more counciuosness

  • @MrMaxiMau Buddhists r never forced to accept anything.lord buddha he himself had preached that he is there to show the path its up to us to follow it or not, each person is master of himself.buddhism of course is a philosophy saying every result has a reason but karma isnt the reason for every result. all the reasons are classified in to four categories as uthu niyama, dhamma niyama bija niyama and karma niyama.karma is just 1/4th of it.read more about buddhism before recklessly commenting.

  • @jani70072 read more? how about open your eyes and look at the reality? the royal families of Asia owned slaves while monks/abbotts tought the people that it was karma that they were born in such situation!

remember that the royals have a close connection to the buddhism!

and how many forms of buddhism are there? since you've read so much

  • @MrMaxiMau i dont think i even need to answer ur question yet i ll reply .Theravada practiced maily in south asia n sri lanka. Mahayana practiced through east asia has following branches Pure Land, Zen, Nichiren Buddhism, Tibetan Buddhism, Shingon, Tiantai and Shinnyo-en n then theres vajrayana also.important is what was originally preached by buddha not the branches of buddhism created by people themselves long after his passing away.

  • @jani70072 i come from a country with a history of more than 2000 years of therewada buddhism.we had kings(considered as emperors according to the era)no history of slavery has ever been reported.when it comes to china, japan things ur saying might be true.as a matter of fact not even the basics of buddhism r practiced in those countries so history of those countries may not be the best way to judge buddhism.what about emperor dharmashoka of india who spreaded buddhism world wide?

  • @jani70072 why consider divisions?go through the original preachings of buddha.najajja wasalo hothi najajja hothi brahmano.no man is low to one another frm birth but frm his behavior.these were buddhas words.monks n emperors were not arihaths they were laymen like us,they can always be wrong.specially when it comes to mahayana, many alterations frm the original form of buddhism had happened.thats why i say reading is important.reality is what buddha preached.

  • @jani70072 there were no such things called buddhist empires or buddhist communities during the time of buddha.these were all created by people.buddha didnt even intend to spread buddhism.it snt even a religion,to be spreaded like that.buddha had visited sri lanka thrice, yet buddhism wasnt given to sri lanka.it was king dharmashoka who gave buddhism a face of a religion n spreaded it world wide.by the way ur the first person i ve heard saying buddhism accepted slavery.ur seriously misled

  • @jani70072 SO R THE REST OF THE WORLD!

All religions want to grow stronger, religions destroy humans minds, religions want your money, religions want your life and soul- this it wut I've learned from the real world. Like Buddhism learned(envolved) from Brahminism. and thx for reply my ?

  • @MrMaxiMau Buddhism evolved from Brahminism only as much as Aristotlean philosophy evolved from Socratian! I think you may be a tad harsh on religions: I will agree that at their worst they can suck away the true value of life and the search for truth, but I don't think you're perceiving Buddhism as it is, personally :) You give up nothing, submit to nothing, but understanding the true nature of the universe a bit better learn a happier way to live that makes others happy too :)

  • @mijmijrm haha gain some knowledge

  • The most peaceful music in the world, warm giving caring understanding, to be able to live a life like this..........................

  • @STORMWALKDEN

Totally agree, I listen to this while I meditate.

  • Un havre de paix cette chanson , les chants tibétains sont tout simplement magnifique ...

  • I show up here and find the uploader has a conversation about top-level physics in his comments...Wish I could understand what the heck it all meant though. Just makes my head hurt.

  • Buddhism is the true religion of peace. I believe that the world would become much more peaceful place if theistic religions would eventually be replaced or be greatly changed by far eastern philosophical religions like buddhism

  • @Zdem0Z

That statement is self evident. Of course the world would be more peaceful if everyone agreed. If everybody was atheist, Muslim, catholic, protestant, Buddhist, satanist, if everyone agreed, everyone, would by default, be in agreement, thus ending war. To say that the world would be better if everyone believed what you believe is fundamentally similar to the call for religious cleansing in many radical religions. When I think of Buddhists, I usually think of people far more tolerant.

  • @Zdem0Z FYI Buddhism is not a religion, if anything you can say Buddhism is sets of precepts, insight , and beliefs.

  • @whatsavegan66 It is a path of "Spiritual Philosophy" as I like to call it. But either way, it is technically a "religion" by definition.

  • @Zdem0Z i agree with u at all points ! why be grow anger inside, be jealous and try to make as much things that u think are good for you. if u have so much love to give wich will come back to you and everyone is happy then... PEACE !

  • my mams asleep lol

  • i love it so much

    Perfect in all senses...

  • Let the great Avalokiteshvara spread his love and fill the world with peace and compassion. Buddhism helped me recover from pain and healed my emotional wounds. I have never felt so pure in my soul before. Everyday feels like I'm in love and each step feels like closer to enlightenment.

  • How do I get this to replay?

  • @809northstatestreet

regarding your question about replaying Hanshan Temple - I wanted the same so I created a Playlist of 18 Buddhist and similar songs, set it to Shuffle On and Autoplay, and play it over and over to feel better and release my grief from loss.

  • Love and Peace to all Buddhists, especially to our Great Buddha, the Enlightened One. <3

  • So beautiful. Hanshan is one of my favorite writers and it is because of his body of work that was collected and transcribed, that I am the person I am today. Beautiful.

  • Love to the World, is my gift Blessings.

  • As I have worked through this evening, I've listened endlessly to this beautiful video - and also watched it several times. It literally transports me to a place in the Universe far beyond all earthly concerns. Both the visual and the auditory aspects are incredibly calming and soul regenerating. My breathing unconsciously slowed to a pace that has prepared me for sleep...Ahhh

  • me gusta!!! GRASIAS

  • The mathematical side of science. Not physics though, but "hand-scripted star shapes" as the artist conceives an object he will never touch so his imaginative mind 'creates' (or re-creates - also coined as 'recreation') the reality, thereby reflecting human perception and reminding the universe that it's being observed by human beings who 'make sense' of it. (Is it a surprise that people have always seen the handiwork of 'someone' in the universe? In my opinion obviously not). Very nice.

  • @jcmmanuel I think software that examines maths acts like a telescope that examines abstract reality. All possible forms are there, but the software is fashioned to focus into selected areas of the abstract cosmos and manifest it in graphic form. Making subtle changes to the software to reveal variations is like, for a telescope, highlighting parts of the spectrum beyond vision. It may seem like creativity, but really, it's exploration and discovery in the mindscape.

  • @mijmijrm I don't deny that, but still it is creativity. In essence the world can be defined in terms of numbers - all of it (except the initial singularity) and some people take that for being the real reality. Most people think the reality is better than the deconstructed view of it, but in essence this is accepting a 'constructed' view, and from there, also to accept constructivity (creativity). We create meaning. Of course, on the basis of what already exist - but still.

  • @jcmmanuel well - to go further - i was using a telescope analogy for creativity - what i mean is .. we tend to think of creativity as a personal internal thing. I think it's more a way of seeing into the world of potential (beyond matter). Creativity is the art of seeing (via mind) into this world that's there for all of us. We don't create something out of nothing - we grasp it in the abstract world. Any creativity in art or maths is a discovered view into the world of all possiblities.

  • @mijmijrm I get that. My point is that this touches on the big question in the philosophy of science, why it is that mathematics is so adequate a language to describe physics. Indeed it is a discovery of what's already there, but why it is there and why it matches a systematic language is something to marvel. On the other hand, if we go further in 'discovering the world 'via mind', I think we essentially take something we see, and build upon it with elements we know from somewhere else.

  • @jcmmanuel oh .. i see what you mean. But (as you might expect i'd say) physics doesn't describe what is there. Physics is a method for creating and refining models to an acceptable degree of accuracy a measurable aspect of what is there. So mathematics doesn't correspond to physical reality - it's the language of the approximate model created in our abstract reality.

  • stoned as shit...this is amazing

  • amo esta cancion es muy hermosa y me hace sentir muy relajado., esos momentos q son en la vida para desaparecer del mundo!!! y despues regresar con todos los animos

  • @supawanich00 thank you, i appreciate that very much, i go to youtube everyday and play the same video, it helps me evry much

  • good work. i did a mystic animation of archetypical pictures of the sun . if you like you can find them on my channel

  • @bbstepho thanks. I checked out your "Rising Sun" .. packed with very effective stuff. (i particularly liked the glide through the light-trees :)

  • @mijmijrm thanks as well. i like your simple sun :)

  • I feel like I am hearing the Devas singing in their Heavenly Realm in praise of the Buddha, Dharma and Sangha. That's how lovely this music is to me. Just a question: what are the lyrics, actually? As I don't know the language I've just used my imagination, and I might be off the track here...:)

  • how to download this chant? for mp3 you have a link?

  • @MrRama00 if you have firefox, you could get the "downloadhelper" extension and grab it from here. Though, it's worth pointing out this is a mere 10 min clip from the original 24 min track on the CD. It might actually be worth getting the CD. It's only £4 in the UK. Dirt cheap.

  • @mijmijrm Hi, if you wouldnt mind telling me where to get the CD, or providing the link to, I would love to have the CD. Blessings, Liz.

  • @erbrown75 hi .. i'll send you a message with the details .. it's simple tho .. just go to amazon.com (or .co.uk) and search for Hanshan Temple)

  • Blessed Be!! This is sooooo Beautiful music....I have the long version on i tunes does anyone know how to get the long version on you tube...?

  • @68Earthgoddess the full track is almost 24 mins long. The max length for a YouTube video (for a normal human being) is currently 10 mins.

I think the only way to get the full track onto YouTube is by, somehow, being a member with special privileges.

  • Thank you for creating such a wonderful video. I love your graphics, very good for meditation purposes. I absolutely love this music. I cannot get enough of it. I often play it over and over again. It's good for elevating one's mood. Thank you for sharing. Namaste x

  • We all know that every day has it's challenges, but we should be happy to face those challenges, because for every day that you wake up in the morning,it's another day you are still here and you should be happy to face those challenges knowing that your still here, while others have gone from this world, those who are still here should enjoy every moment, life is a gift and if that's the only present you ever get, then that's all you should ever want.Peace and Happiness.

  • My one year old loves this video!!

  • This sounds like love to me, audible love. Thats how it makes me feel anyway.

  • peace from oregon...
