I've noticed Victor has two Ying-Yang basses on the stage with him. What for?

There are actually three!!! He has his original Ying Yang which s the banana colored one with the black design, Then there's the new one - 4 string with the darker wood look, also with the black design. Lastly there's the 5 string, light wood with the reddish colored design which is midi.......He makes it sound like a guitar, sax, piano etc. Vic's innovation knows no bounds..................Jross

I've never really thought of Victor's basses as having "banana" finish, but now, as you've mentioned it and I've got my Groove Workshop DVD, it really does look banana!

As to the 5-string, I've seen Victor with that bass on many promotional pictures, but never seen him play it.

I know he also has a black bass with LED fret markers, not sure if it's a Fodera, though.

He goes Ahhhhh!!!...............lol The thing is how would we know when he makes a mistake? Is it possible that he make mistakes all the time and we just don't know because everything sounds so great.......lol

Well, we might not know for sure, but Vic definitely knows when he's made one. I remember he said in one of his clinics "I can play the half notes wrong, but if the other half would be right, you won't even notice it" or something along the lines. I believe he does that from time to time, and that's what making me a bit uncomfortable with his music - I hear he's still in the pocket, but the notes no longer appeal to me.
