Dead Space is good. Good production values and all. Still doesn't hold a candle to F.E.A.R. 2 in scare factor, though.

Loved the first game, this looks to become pretty good too, just a shame you don't get to play Point Man, since they've already built up the story between him and Alma. Also, it's a tad odd they make one of the regular Delta guys the antagonist, since in the first game they couldn't really hold a candle to Point Man

hey.. i've learned something in the demo.. you can not or are not able to avoid scary moments, because they are dinamically adapt to your movement.. in the previous games if you're aiming somewhere else, you can cheat, not to see them.. but in this new F.E.A.R. your positions or turns won't wipe them.. if alma is there somewhere you'll see that.. got no chances.. maybe the game can be completed more then one time if you want to scare your crap out.. next time alma gonna hide somewhere else..

Directorricky ... yeah, pretty much what the people before me said here, the first game was about the Point Man from a special task force (F.E.A.R.) getting called in to deal with the situation when something refered to as Project Origin all goes wrong and some really scary stuff start happening... Kind of an intense story that develops throughout the game, so I'm not giving away any more spoilers ;)

I played the demo and it is awesome. I give the demo an 8/10. The gun play is as good as a first person shooter gets but i think that is mainly because the game almost feels like a tactical shooter and i wouldn't hesitate to call it a first person tactical shooter. With that being said i find the main enemies are too easy to kill. Usually one or two well placed shots kills them. Also the A.I is a little too daring and usually ends up on the bad end of my gun. Can't wait for the full version.

I agree, it gets more annoying than scary when it's like that and especially when you see it coming. But I tried the demo too and my god is it scary... It really was surprisingly frightening. The first game had it's scary moments but this felt scary as hell, all the way through the demo (except the last section of it with the robot armor)

The game also looks insanely good, the graphics are really stunning. I am impressed with what I've tried so far and look forward to getting it.
