@RogalDorn69 An armour save can be penetrated with weapons that have a better AP value than the armour save etc - An AP3 weapon ignores 3+ or worse armour. Invulnerable saves however can NEARLY always be taken. You can NOT take both an armour save an invulnerable save for a model.

@swedespartan Necrons are by far the easiest, and they used to be the easiest to play, but they are one of the more difficult now. But they are supposed to be getting a new codex in the next year. After necrons is probably space marines. Very easy builds. Not to bad on the painting.

@smileyvigilante333 Dark Eldar are very fast, Extremely lightly armoured, even their vehicles, decent to amazing in close combat, and have some deadly firepower.

Eldar are still fairly fast, but not as much as Dark Eldar. They have better armour, vehicles are more heavily armoured, and have some amazing psyker powers. Eldar are ALL about specialization. Every unit has a specific task that it must preform, but it preforms it AMAZINGLY well.

@jayman6200 Yeah, working on it. Hopefully in the next month or two. Basically same exact rules, only you can use anything in your your codex no matter how many wounds, how great of armour so long as you dont go over the 500 points. And you are required to have 2 troops and 1 hq.

@Dark0marines i would recomend choas. way more fun over space marines (which are boring, to many people play them) chaos have a huge range of models. espesially in the demon area, plus you can also buy most space marine infantry or vehicals and just convert them to the dark side of chaos and ur aloud to use them. other than them, id go for tyrinds or necron (even tho necron arnt on ur list -.-)

@Dark0marines Depends on what style of gameplay do you like. space marines are can adapt to different situations, they can shoot, assault, etc. Tyranids are awesome at assaulting but terrible at range. Chaoes space marines are the evil space marines. Tau are deadly at range but terrible at assaulting[two of my space marineterminators tore thru 2 fire team squads, the rest of the terminators were killed easily at range]. Orks are similar to the Tyranids.

@Dark0marines [continued] another race, the imperial gaurd, need many units, but they have awesome barrage attacks and tanks. Chaos daemons have units for defence, close combat, speed, etc. I heard the Eldar are for hit and run attacks, and some units are mainly for shooting, the while the others are mainly for assaulting. I recently started, and i collect space marines, there the best for starters. If your starting, purchase the assault on black reach kit, it has space marines, orks, a rulebook

hey I bought the assualt on black reach set and was playin with a friend of mine and we had to stop half way in cuz we couldnt figure out how to damage the dreadnought. I was playing space marines btw.

@Machinehead645 Yeah, the dreadnought is not really a fair unit in that set, if you just play one vs the other without any models. The Dreadnought has an AV of 12 on the front and sides. So you roll the str of the weapon shooting plus 1 d6, and if it is equal to or over the AV, than you can roll to see how much damage you do. And in close combat, you always fight against the front armour of 12 with your characters str
