  • Like your demo!!! 2 questions. First, what is the psi you use for the 2 gauges? Is this psi good for every BMW, like X5? 2nd, what port do you use on the injector rail? How to find it? I will do this flush for my 2001 X5 3.0i. Would appreciate if you can tip these infor. By the way, is it easier to take off the fuel pump fuse, instead of finding the fuel pump and disconnect the wire?

  • @VA8341 The upper gauge is for main fuel pressure. I usually take a reading of rail pressure before starting and then adjust my pressure accordingly. That is for the injector service. The induction service is adjusted to have just enough flow to clean the intake without loading to my cleaner in the intake. Usually @ 30 psi it works the best. The fuse method can be used on other models. This car ran more than the fuel pump on the fused circuit. Hope this helps.
