Good choice using the Level-D as well.

Now, you may want to try FSX or FS9 voice control.

I use something called "Multi Crew Experience" (which you can try for free for up to 7 days). You can then ask the virtual co-pilot to turn dials for you. You can even talk to FS native ATC. Google it up LOL! :-))
