Hilarious. The Billionsiares for Wealth Care are great. The best 'protesting' I've seen. Keep it up. Maybe the right wingers will someday figure out that their anti-government stance is shooting them in the foot - unless of course, they are millionaires.
We need to get government out of insurance not into it. I wonder why the parts of "health care" that have zero insurance and little government involvement have seen prices that have dropped like rocks and quality that has skyrocketed. It's because insurance that Americans have grown accustomed to is not insurance at all...it's pre-paid health care, there is zero incentive to save. If people had an actual hand in the game it would save us a lot more money.

Hey Rachel,
I attended the 9/12 DC rally. You are dead wrong and sadly misguided by your liberal ANTI-AMERICAN views. Why don't you follow Hannah Giles, the 20 yr. old, who investigated a real story about ACORN. This young reporter has more guts than you do for exposing the TRUTH. Rachel, you are a sham! Your journalism is just toxic attacks against anyone who disagrees with your liberal agenda. Do all Dykes act and think like you? GO Hannah, PULITIZER prize candidate?
Once again classic liberals. Disguise yourself and pretend your something your not. Nothing new. Pretend you care by hating on little old women that want to ask questions and what's on page 456. It's a crime these days to read a bill. You shouldn't protest either because only liberals are allowed to do that. Everyone else is just a racist. So juvenile that's why people don't believe democrats. They have no credibility. You got to show your compassionate, not pretend like you are fakers. Phonies.
Where was all of this deep patriotic concern for all that our country stands for when Bush was turning the Constitution and Bill of Rights into toilet paper?
I was against Bush destroying the constitution and I'm not hypocritical so I'm still against Obama destroying the constitution. Where are all the Bush protesters when freedom is really under attack? That's the question. Where did all the war protesters go now that we're sending more troops to die? Little hypocritical. It's time for democrats to put their money where their mouth is and stop saying they care and show they care. The way liberals treat the elderly asking questions is horrid.
Uh....exsqueeze me? Where do you see me acting like a teen age girl, circa 1964 at a Beatles concert for Obama? I have lashed him repeatedly over many issues. But I do have a functioning mind and I do remember the attitude about Bush. Christ, I was called names that would peel wall paper for daring to speak out against Iraq adventurism. Hell, I may still be on some watch list.
But the hyperbole from the right is just far too disingenuous to let slip past. Hypocrisy is a nasty trait.
Obama said he'd bring our warriors home from a senseless war. When will he stop the killing? Where's code pink now?
Obama said he'd immediately close Guantanamo. When? And for that matter you'd think that he'd stop the practices not just the location.
Obama said a lot of things. But anyone with an IQ over 80 can see that he's just the other side of the same coin that Bush was on. Hell, at least Bush was relatively honest about his attacks on freedom, markets, and general humanity.
Anyone with an I Q greater than their belt size would see that Bush and Friends left a Gordian knot for the following administrations and anyone with one iota of clarity or honesty would admit this. But, what would one expect from a follower of a smarmy little shriveled up racist. Fiat currency my ass, go audit the fed some more johnny one note.
So the best way to fix what the previous administration did is to continue the same policies? Surely you're being facetious.
I don't "follow" any politicians, because in the end that's all they are. Maybe a personality voter can't grasp such a sane concept...I don't know what your problem is.
So Mr. Economics Professor, explain to me why the fed should exist as a fourth and unchecked branch of government? I don't even really care about "hard currency," I care about freedom.
I know Paulbots love to 'splain away that issue, but really? He had nothing to do with his own news letter? Really?
The Fed actually should be regulated, over seen, well controlled and always kept in check. This being said, the alternative to a Fed-less country would be massive financial chaos initially. Ever see drug withdrawal?
As to being SO advanced, why bother with the internet, you evidently are so far above us you can mind beam data to the world. putz
His voting record shows zero racism, and libertarian principles mean that even if he was racist he would never use government to do anything about it. So I don't really care. You do apparently.
Massive financial chaos? Some of the most prosperous times in this countries history, where there was the greatest increase in standards of living was without a fed. I've seen drug withdrawal...it's a cure.
Being smarter than you doesn't make me advanced, in fact it doesn't say much about me at all.
@VarialProductions I also understand that government is what enabled slavery, segregation, and kept minorities from voting. Got a point?
Throughout history the absolute greatest achievements that effected the largest groups of people were thanks to the hard work of INDIVIDUALS not governments...while the absolute worst things humanity has ever witnessed were committed by governments.
Reality is why I'm libertarian. Collectivism is almost uniformly bad for America and humanity.
But it was a minority of people who wanted to repeal slavery and give equal rights to minorities. If there was not a democracy to protect the rights of the minorities party it would most likely never get done. That is why we see every modern western society as a democracy and not an anarchist society as it would appear you suggest.
True democracy is bad for freedom. A democratic REPUBLIC is what we're supposed to be and what we need to return to in order to save our nation.
I don't even care if you keep your left wing big government ideals. Ideally the people of California/Massachusetts/New York/Wherever, should be allowed to tax their people to death and hate freedom, what they shouldn't be able to do is force it upon the rest of the country via DC.
If we want the public option we need to step up our game and get more involved. In the comment section of my profile I have petitions, phone numbers and several other resources to help you get started. If You are still confused about health care reform you also may find the information there helpful. Together we can do this!
You and me both. :) They are awesome. They have appeared at many of these Tea Parties. You should look up Billionaires For Wealthcare and check out all the crazy stuff they have done.. It is great.

Not at all. I wouldn´t march for their rights either.

it's not about who is the better boss, it's about who has the right to free/affordable healthcare. don't twist the issues.

WHY PUBLIC OPTION IS NECESSARY
UHC CEO Stephen Hemsley has $745 MILLION in stock options. 2007 pay $13.2mil; 2008 $3.2 mil.
CIGNA CEO Edward Hanway made $120mil in last 5yrs. Stock options = $28mil.
Humana CEO Michael McCallister's made $10.3mil in 07. $1,017,308 in 08. Stock options = $60mil
LARGEST GOLDEN PARACHUTE in history of corporate America goes to William McGuire of UnitedHealth 1.4 BILLION DOLLARS!
Now how many DENIED angiograms MRI's & dialysis treatments does that take?
