  • My sis went to prom in that car.

  • very nice car, fairplay

  • Hello,

OK I still want a car like this.

So I will need to build my own/ find another one.

Is there potentially something to read up on your car which will give some more information about it?

Could I also ask to join the line if you should change your mind?

    How can we establish contact?

    Thanks, A.

  • Hello, is the car for sale?

  • I'm afraid not mate :)

  • love it

  • from the rover 3500 TWR... i have a Mk1 1100cc i love it

  • The engine is a tuned 3.5 Rover V8 and there's plenty of space for it as it's sitting way back in the bay - only the ancilliaries i.e. water pump, oil pump and dizzy are in front of the cross member / steering rack.

It would be awesome to fit an original 500 plus bhp BDA but it ain't gonna happen on my budget :)

  • I know its not for the pureists...but i know someone whos fitted a mitsubishi turbo engine to his mk1....not an evo though...he says hes the first to do this...

  • Hi, are you still out there, is the Car for sale? Andreas

  • The Zakspeed Capris had 1427cc (460hp) and the 1746cc (560hp) Based on the old iron block,1300 and 1600 Kent engine with BDA top and a BIG kkk turbo! I love FORD and hate VW

  • That engine would've been a tight fit - what size is it?

Zakspeed - I found the one they did based off the 1978 Ford Capri Mk3 unusual (for racing purposes only Gr5) - massive wings and spoilers, and beneath it all a turbocharged 1.4L 4 cylinder!
