Nice work. As a vocalist, my only critique would be to work on your vibrato. That's very important for a song like this. Any cover of Geoff Tate, you've gotta have a good vibrato. But you were never sharp or flat. Nice tones. And if you did the harmony work....that was good too. I don't agree that the phrasing needs to be exact on a cover, but vibrato is a very important element of your delivery.
hey... you sound pretty good. Take a bunch of the reverb off your vocal and redo it. Also, go back and listen close to how GTate phrases the lyrics and try to replicate them a little closer. The "still crying..." is the best part. Is that a jam track? Or did you record all the parts?
