to all the people complaining about the Mac's game deficiency, that's what my Xbox 360, Wii, and PS3 are for. GAMES CONSOLES are supposed to play games, not computers. ok, i play WoW and Rift, and a few other exclusive PC games, but i got majority for my consoles and a few for my Mac. PC gaming is fun, and i do lots of gaming on it, but my consoles are my main game machines, as they should be.

Beach Ball of Death is more common from Bluescreen, That "Bluescreenlike" black window when you need to reser Mac. Its that same as Bluescreen! Only prittier... Macs only look better, but in other hand they won't make you unique. They look that same... i sam room full of Mac's. Noone was unique...

@blueblurblahblee462 oke, listen. there is need for all this power. i am an game-artist (i make games) mac is the best platform to make games on. (like the mailman for all of the mailman's ) we use macs to Design, Render etc.

if we made the game, we try it out on pc (gaming rig). cause there is the majority of the market, this does not mean that Macs can not run it, they have very good specs. all you need is "playonmac" or you use bootcamp, witch gives you awesome performance in games. trust me

@blueblurblahblee462 and something else. some people in my team do not like MAC, mostly because of the dedicated RAM, (the 3D-artists can't cope with that) and thats cause they most of the time's don't know that its just a setting. other people do not like mac cause they can not "play-arround" with the files in programs, all you have to do is right click on the program you want to edit-> show package content. and we do make 3D game's, we support guerrilla as much as we can.

PC's are MEANT for gaming. A PS3 has 256/512MB of RAM, and the 360 512MB. Yeah. Processors? The PS3 has a single-core 3.2GHz with 7 SPE's, the 360 a tri-core at 3.2GHz. Compare that to 6-core 3.4GHz processors, and people who overclock them to 4.5GHz+. Don't tell me PC's aren't made for gaming.

Windows debates are so pointless because in order for something to be better than the other there needs to be application. For me, my Mac is better than a PC because it does what I need to do in terms of Audio Production and Digital Painting... and that's all I need it for. I much prefer Apple's Logic to other DAW's such as ProTools or Cubase and so got a Mac instead of a PC.

Now with superior Graphics card (The Mac Pro has only a single HD 5770 or HD 5870 if your willing to spend another $200), faster hard drives with more space on them aswell, also with the cpu i can say i got more stuff for my money. What driver problems? never experienced, btw Mac's use Amd gpu's as mentioned above.

My psu maximum output is 1000 watts.

Hence the card has two gpu's it should be reasonably priced higher (as it is). Also the 6990 is 200% (based on guess) more better than the best gpu on a mac, which is the 5870. Outdated and can only meet requirements.
