I have been having continous & very vivid dreams about Devito's Oswald Cobblepot over the weeks, some of these dreams being very explicit in nature -winkwink-.

I dreamt that he proposed to me in his lair and we rode off together in his duck'mobile'. I dreamt we had little penguin babies on one occasion... I wake up sometimes yearning for him. And he's not even real. He's purely fictitious!

For the first time a villain seemed so real. I mean this could very well happen. Some deformed kid, some dodgy politicians and we have an elected candidate to some position in power elected on pity and remorse and not going for face value. I mean it was all there, the awkwardness of talking with other people, the reasons why he is like that, the motives of wanting to be normal, the hate for his parents etc. I mean by god, the penguin became so real and easy to understand all of a sudden.

The nose bite used to horrify me as a child. I remember loving this movie, but always closing my eyes to avoid seeing this part. I look at it now and laugh at the dark humor, but when you're seven years old, the the visual of a deformed fat man biting into someone's nose and "gushing blood" is plain disturbing.
