Well sang. WADR, this song has a feeling for longing, best sang in a more coarse voice like Zaheer's. ARR's voice is more silky and is perhaps better suited to more upbeat songs. Just an opinion.

Zaheer has a raw voice quality that came out much better than Rahman. Whereas Rahman has a more silky voice. I think if you pleace Zaheer's voice in the movie, it would sound better than the original. I am sure lots of Rahman fans will disagree. Too bad we cannot ask them both to perform next to eachother. Also note that Rahman's song was a finished product after many takes. Whereas Zaheer sang it LIVE!

However, in my opinion, sa re ga ma pa, this year, is not that entertaining! I still don't know why in a hell is "Asma" still in the competition! Shashi got an early exit - which sucks really bad!

But, Indian Idol this year is going to be a super badass - I've been watching it from the 2nd episode. Man, they've got some very good singers this year - Excellent singers! Don't miss it! Yup, almost 90% of the metropolitan citizen of Nepal love Desi songs! So, Peace!
