Hi, do you have any knowledge of what the process is to tune this keyboard? Looking at purchasing one and it happens to be out of tune. Or if you know of a place on the web that explains this?
@sadling It's simple really. Lift up the lid and there's small tuning wheels with the key marked under each one. I'd say just get a chromatic tuner and tune each key to that. However, some keys will tune automatically if keys next to them are being re-tuned, so definitely double check that the tuning is correct.
@FlipTSO Transistors, I believe. But they're tunable, which yeah might in fact mean that they are oscillators. Sorry if I'm getting some terminology wrong, forgive me, I don't have a background in electronics. And no, it's not. I say that in another video where I compare the Hohner Pianet T vs. the RMI, but I probably should've mentioned it here.
