I think what @RasberrySeason meant was that pushing the liquid down so hard in the baby's mouth is dangerous. Not the fact that it was liquid or through a syringe. I have 4 nieces and nephews and I have used syringes to give them medicines and RasberrySeason is right...you have to administer the medicine slowly not that quick. I am studying nursing and that is the right way to do it. Even if the child is a bit older. I am not being a hater or disrespectful, I am just putting it out there.

I do not appreciate your comment about my child being in danger and me requiring a parenting book. I have only recently started studying medicine for my GCSE's, and I asked my tutor about this and she said it was fine as long as it wasn't rushed! And if the baby has any signs of lack of mobility, then something has gone wrong. But this child seems perfectly fine to me (: Therefore it was fine, and I think this child knew, too, that it was rushed so that's why he dribbled it back out again (: He is safe, that is all that matters

@RaspberrySeason I study medical for my GCSE's and am currently learning about medicine being given to babies. Yes, there is a risk of choking, but only if given to them improperly. Chelsey (Samantha's sister) is in no way endangering her child. She used a harmless syringe without a needle containing homeopathic LIQUID medicine. If this were solid medication, i.e. tablets, then yes there would be a risk of a choking hazard. I am 14 and know this due to study. Liquid is easy for babies to swallow
