I don't get paid to say this! I had hit a wall in my training for about 9 months before I stared to use PROGENEX and now things are turning around. If you want to get stronger you need to train harder and thats what Progenex does for me. I do 2-3 workouts a day and yes I get fatigued and sore but nothing like I used to when I was just doing only 1 workout a day, don't believe me follow my blog: unbreakablefitness wordpress com
I may not be the fittest person on the planet but......
People might not hate CrossFit so much if they lost the ridiculous high rep power/oly lifts and stopped saying things like... Oh I don't know... "Fittest human being on the planet"...
@xXxMrMysteryxXx ...but they are the fittest human beings on the planet. who would beat them? you can't say a decathlete, or a boxer, or a marathon runner or a 100m sprinter. they are only fit at their chosen sport. if you present them with anything outside of that aspect, they will lose. if fitness is a general capacity, a crossfitter is your fittest human being. otherwise all your left with is the fittest "boxer" or the fittest "marathon runner" not fittest "overall".
@xXxMrMysteryxXx I'm right. And I've explained why. Fitness is defined as increased work capacity over broad time and modal domains. he or she is fit as they are balanced in the 10 adaptations to training. that's your crossfitter. if you have a fitter athlete, present them to me and explain your reasoning. if you can't, then you're either jealous or just plain ignorant.
@ArCxlioN So why is it none of the best CrossFitters got good at CrossFit by doing CrossFit? They all came from other sports and backgrounds and that's why they dominate the CF games. CF alone hasn't made anyone "elite" like they choose to claim. Also it's been proven that trying to cover all aspects of fitness is far less beneficial than just covering one or two
@ArCxlioN Give Yuri Van Geldar a week or two to learn oly lifts he doesn't know them already, and he'll dominate this chump. So will any actual athlete.
@xXxMrMysteryxXx if you think people walk into crossfit, already good at crossfit, you're an idiot. sorry, but there is absolutely NO proof that focusing on one aspect of fitness makes you fit. strength is an aspect of fitness. are power lifters fit? no. they're just excellent at lifting. are marathon runners fit? at running marathons, yes. ask them to sprint 200m and they will lose against a more "balanced" athlete. you don't understand the concept of fitness and i can't argue with ignorance.
@ArCxlioN "I can't argue with ignorance" I feel the same way buddy... I've told CrossFitters why they're wrong a thousand times and they all get defensive and cry about it. I could type for about 10 comment boxes on why you're wrong but I honestly just don't feel like it. If you wanna do CrossFit that's fine, I'll stick to real workouts, have fun being the "fittest human being on the planet" lmfao.
@xXxMrMysteryxXx a crossfit champion is the fittest on earth. until you present me with an athlete who is fitter and explain why they are fitter, we are done talking.
@ArCxlioN Ugh you really suck. I already did, Yuri Van Geldar. I told you give him two weeks or so to learn oly lift and he dominates those chumps. Most soccer players would be fitter, mma fighters, bboys, the guys from ninja warrior and the list goes on. These guys are B level athletes that couldn't cut it in sports so they invented their own shitty wannabe olympics.
@xXxMrMysteryxXx the fact that you use phrases like "give him 2 weeks to learn the olympic lifts" makes me realise how unbelievably stupid you are, we're done here.
@xXxMrMysteryxXx The guy that you think is the fittest man in the world is a cocaine addict. He was disqualified from the 2009 dutch championships and pulled out of the 2010 worlds because of his addiction to cocaine. By what definition of fitness do you consider a gymnast-turned-cocaine addict the "fittest man on earth"?
@CFNA300 You sound like a 13 year old who just learned "drugs are bad". He used occasionally and failed a drug test. An addict sells all his shit and has his life ruined, he definitely doesn't win gold medals at the olympics. That's like saying Michael Phelps isn't fit because he smokes weed now and then. It's not like coke is performance enhancing. The fact that he can use cocain and still dominate in his sport is remarkable. Run along now, bed time for you.
@xXxMrMysteryxXx "An addict sells all his shit and has his life ruined, he definitely doesn't win gold medals at the olympics". Yuri Van Gelder has never won an Olympic Gold medal (and won't be allowed to compete in London in 2012). And you still haven't answered my question. By what definition of fitness do you consider Yuri Van Gelder to be the Fittest athlete in the world?
@CFNA300 He has won gold in the European championships but had to return it. Didn't answer your question because I never said he was the fittest man in the world, no one can hold that title, only CrossFit is stupid enough to assign that to anyone. I just believe Van Gelder with a little training in the technical aspects (Oly lifting) would destroy these guys at their own game.
i thought crossfit prides itself for being all natural....it's sad that even the all-natural competitions around the world are never 100% natural....supliments are not like steroids but any supliment even protein shakes/powders that inhance your natural abilities or ability to recover is un-natural. sad that there is only a small population that works out and eats only food and that's it, not protien shakes/bars/creatine/recovery suplements/etc
@deathworm123 true, MOST recovery supplements are BS. but not all supplements are created equal, like not all athletes are created equal. give us a try and you'll see for yourself. money back guarantee, can't go wrong.
@stuuffie 2 years at the CrossFit Games and Progenex has two champions. We never said Progenex would make you a stud in front of the camera, just stud on the court (so to speak).
