So I'm convinced that the machine messes up the artist. Once she won, she's handed over to her crew that are made up of effeminate men. They do her hair, makeup & dress. They turn her into a slutty clown with a depressive look. Alexandra looked fresh & classy when she first came on the scene. Now she looks like all the rest with no individuality. Personally, I think they're prepping her for sacrifice. When you're accepted, it's really for their alterior motives. Just like a secret society.

I believe that they've gone for the very dark eye makeup because they've wanted to print the photo in black and white as we see on the cover of the magazine at the end. It looks better in B&W.
