  • shes a cutie

  • gonna get it for cristmas!

  • She's wearing a collar around her neck. That girl's into BDSM. LOL

  • its incredibly stupid. We've been able to monitor brain activity forever, this just simply takes that input and makes it determine the speed of the fans in the little game thing.

  • u can only use ur brains to make it go up and down? haha

  • This is the best toy i have ever bought. I would pay $500 for this. I have mind-control like you read about....

  • im still not getting it

    very tacky

  • Does it work, or is this just a load of crap?

  • I bought this game for my daughter for her b-day. It worked for all of us.

Here's my dilemma. After everyone was done playing with it. I decided to see if I could "de-bunk" it. I clipped the sensors to two finger, covered the head sensor with my thumb. It responded like it had when it was on my head. So is this really working off mind waves? Or just the fact that it is touching the body, and the fan is randomly turning on and off? I just am not convinced this is really using mind waves.

  • Mindirella.

Yes it is using the mind waves. But i also think that it reacts to the heat of the body part. Like when you consintrate your body heats up, when you relax in slowly goes down. Maybe it was reacting to the heating sorce instead or maybe you were consintrating on your hand, so that your brain waves bounced off that. This is a good question you should ask the people who made this.

  • @TheBellashmella Wow you must be a very special kind of moron if your body heats up when you concentrate. How exactly do you bounce your brain waves off your hand? I'd pay good money to see you do that.

  • As a senior in EE I'd say that any generated signal (legitimate or artificial) would make this machine operate. It probably filters out most frequencies and is tuned to a typical brain fq range. It also probably responds "better" to certain fqs in that range, IE- what the programmers predicted a typical "concentrated fq" might be. A signal generator might debunk this since it was probably tested using one in development. It appears to be a project that became under funded so they made it a toy.

  • Realize that your brain sends electrical signals to your muscles, that's what it was reading, probably misinterpreting these signals as brainwaves.

  • why do you put a link over the video? that is way lame. you take away the convenience of clicking the video to pause.

  • Think, okay? It is fake, but it is not fake. It's fake because they ADVERTISE that it just levitates according to your brainwave concentration, when in fact a fact, it does, but they claim it levitates, it just has a hole under that one spot under the ball, with a fan in it. and you rotate the hole with the dial. They mention No fan/hole at all,the fan/hole is told to activate by your concentration waves. The advertisation is FAKE, but the machine is really activated on brainwave concentration.

  • Even though you don't directly control the ball, it's still a step forward.

  • wow i feel srry for the retards who actually spent money on this fake thing

  • this is real u RERE look at other vids its wind controlled by a fan but it picks up your brain frequencys the more u consentrate the more energy is sent the higher the ball goes

  • its brain frequency?

    this a fricking cat scan

its either measures body heat or more probable pulse rate to determine if you are focusing or not

  • Comment removed

  • put in on your penis its works awesome.lol,j/k.if its fake what a rippoff

  • Comment removed

  • They should connect that headset to a Wii and have a two player game. -Adam

  • so fake

  • yeah i was trying to cover all the vids to help consumers avoid the let down as i did. yes i can do a video i spose. don't usually but maybe it's worth it yeah?

  • If you wish to prove you're not just saying that and are on a smear campaign against Mattel, then it couldn't hurt, yes.

  • My hand must be evolved to have grown a brain inside it because when I connect the headset to my hand the fan behaves exactly the same as when connected to my head. OR, Mattel lied and thinks we are all a bunch of idiots who will pay for a falsely advertised product. Everyone who has the product should try the same test. I'm betting on this product being an outright fraud. What a shame this could've been interesting.

  • i just seen you post the same comment on another video.

  • could you make a video showing this?

  • maybe your brain waves travel further than others

  • She looks like Clair Danes from Romeo&Juliet

  • I got the game yesterday...as far as I can tell the techonology does not work. The fan seems to randomly raise/lower the ball at different intervals, despite any conscious concentration/relaxation. I'm VERY dissappointed.

  • She's not *actually* moving it. The headset is picking up on her high and low brainwaves which transmit to the air jet of the toy which lift the ball.

  • Mindflex is now on Facebook! I just heard that Mindflex will be at San Diego Comic Con July 23 - July 26. They're having a 'Babes vs. Brains' Competition!! I've gotta see that!

  • neowired, these devices simply read your level of concentration and relaxation (two diferent dimension on the normal operation of the mind).

Actually, one can use such devices to train their minds to concentrate and relax atthe same time, reaching what sports psychologists call "The Zone", an optimum level of concentration and relaxation that maximizes performance under stressful situations.

Don't worry about that... it's as healthy as EEG. :)

  • Complete bullshit.

  • To JerrySinefield: I agree... It's BULLSHIT!

  • what do you mean?!!

  • personally it makes me wonder if it wouldn't be unhealthy to influence your brain activity in such a way for long periods of time

  • i've seen that game before...it levitates by a jet of air, not mind power

  • No shit, you control power of whichever jet of air the ball is above.

All it's doing is monitoring your brain's beta waves and when there's increased activity, the ball goes higher.

This is just a guess anyhow but i bet that's how it works.

  • of corse it's not your mind physically lifting the ball, that would break the laws of physics and we would have to rethink the way we look at the universe as a whole. It reads your brain activity probably beta & theta waves and that drives a fan. Pretty cool in my mind

  • i guess ur right

  • its probably just air making the ball move but still being able to control the ball with your mind is pretty cool

  • Probably? LOL....

  • sorry about that i think it tells you anyway in another vid lol

  • at :37 seconds, she's not actually concentrating on the ball but it's still floating... anyone else notice? if it were really the work of her mind, when she broke concentration and smiled when he complimented her on her doing a good job. her mind focused on that comment and not on the ball, which would break the concentration that she had, making it drop, and it didn't. brava toymakers, brava

  • It may not be the fact that she had to 'concentrate' on it. You've watched too many movies where concentrating gives you telekenisis. Do you know how the brain works? no, and neither do i. soooo it could be anything keeping the ball up!

  • actually.. i don't watch many movies with tele. and if they do they're b scifi's...usually i watch documentaries, also, how would you know if i knew about the brain or not? not saying i understand the brain to it's fullest extent, but when you made the comment you wouldn't known if i did or didn't. i hope you don't assume things in real life like you do online

  • concentrate on my balls

  • ahahahahaha!!!!! jajajajajajaja

  • hehe eh

  • I SERIOUSLY hope you are joking and don't really believe this is real

  • LOL you're an imbecile

  • Not neccessarily, but I do keep my mind open to ideals. There is a lot in this world that current science is unable to explain away as being mere hoax or parlor trick. This machine does work though, if you know the existing technology that is out there. It's all about combining technologies to give the illusion of T/PK. The real question you should be asking is why your taking anything on youtube seriously? I take everything with a gain of salt, but I also make an effort to investigate claims 2.

  • All I ask is for you to debunk it that's all. If you can't then don't waste my time with your have witted statments. Besides it might produce an answer.

  • LOL if "It's all about combining technologies to give the illusion of T/PK" as you say, then why did you state that "If it is real then we're going to have to back a few step, because obviously science and physics had to wrong."

Quite obviously you thought that this was driven by "mind power" which i find hilarious for a 28 year old to believe.

  • If "The real question you should be asking is why your taking anything on youtube seriously?", then why did you delete the comment i left in your profile you pathetic loser?

As i said in another comment in this video, "All it's doing is monitoring your brain's beta waves and when there's increased activity, the ball goes higher." A most basic principle but too much for you to fathom obviously.

  • It really doesn't need debunked, any magician could tell you there are 1001 ways of doing this - all that is required is to have control of the fan.

YES it could be using beta waves to trigger the fan but what I doubt is that it's accurate enough to raise and lower the speed of the fan just by thinking about it because neuroscientists still don't understand the function of the brain in so much detail.

  • jaicket - it's really simple, it's beta waves that are read by the headset then sent by radio waves to control a variable switch that controls a fan. All pretty standard and pretty cool for a toy I think. I certainly would love to try it, I think anybody apart from the most jaded ignorant person would want to give it at least one go.

  • Your might be right or perhaps your wrong. Who is to say that they haven't made such a discovery. I happen to be in the medical field as a P.A. and even I know that there are things that are withheld for further testing. So, why not TK/PK? In our govt there are many secrets that will baffle most when they first hear of it. Perhaps this man or at least the people he works for got a bit zealous and are trying to break the tinted glass ceiling. OR it could all be a hoax...if so it'd be interesting.

  • I'd be interested to hear some of these secrets that you know about that the government are witholding.

Unless of course you don't really know of any and are in fact using circular reasoning to back up your argument......

  • He calls himself an "open thinker". Look at how closed minded he is, he can't even accept simple technology applied to a toy.

He thinks that a barbie doll company is "breaking the tinted glass ceiling"

Type "EEG" into google image search. Or "NeuroSky Gamer Headset" into plain google. This is from 2007: "A US company has come up with a headset that reads your brainwaves" "The headset is expected to go into production later this year and could cost as little as $20."

    Government secrets!

  • I'd say it would be a pretty unsuccessful secret if you could find out about it by doing a search on the most widely used internet search engine in the world.

I'll admit that I may not have researched the topic fully before commenting, but you also should consider thinking before you speak.

That said, before I could make a decision either way I'd want to know exactly what the toy was claiming to do, and what the current technology was that they were claiming to use.

  • What the hell are you on about? I'm agreeing with you, thinker900 is an idiot.

  • wow shut the hell up, stop trying to act smart like "you're have a feeble mind" comon no one needs to hear your idiotic opinions and watch i swear your so immature you will post back to this and flame me... im just stating the facts buddy

  • Huh, I didn't quite hear you. Given that it was several weeks since I posted that comment; I no long care what you have to say. Some people have to move on and let go. You might want to try that. Facts aren't based on beliefs or bias. I suggest you remember that ...k.

  • Well if you think thats scary then you might want to start learning how to help yourself. I know of a few that you near you and they do just fine thank you. Being a properly educated or trained in the medical field has nothing to do with ones hobbies or beliefs. I would think that you'd know that at least.

  • I'm still investigating that and yes I'm from the military, but not all off us have that kind of clearence to classified documents. However, there are quite a few that are getting close, though they tend to exaggerate a bit.

  • LOL i'm gonna stop replying to you. Quite obviously a waste of my time.

You're either a just trolling (your profile does say "First and for most I'm not a TROLL), or you're an extremely stupid kid, who refuses to accept reality. Either way it's sad.

I doubt you're 28, and if you are. Oh boy... you've gotta be one of those basement kids who gains all his knowledge from hollywood movies.

The next (last response to you!) message will be a copy and paste from an article about the toy.

  • (Also in reference to 'Uncle Milton's Force Trainer')

"Both games use a form of EEG (electroencephalogram, as Leo explains). The Force Trainer measures the alpha, beta, gamma and delta brian waves and uses an algorithm to interpret the data to arrive at your level of concentration, while the Mind Flex measures your theta brain waves to arrive at your degree of focus."

  • There's not such thing as the force...where'd you get that from STARWARS! As I said earlier, EEG is that all you have to explain the interaction between the two devices? Come on, I could do a better job than that. As a matter of fact I asked a Youtuber to debunk it for me...type in Telekinesis is fake...I think the mans username is Meyer or miller. Then read my second response. You might observe that I have some skeptism about this device as well. Dumbass.

  • Retarded. How does this work?

  • I think you may be retarded if you can't work it out ;)

  • Lovely idea for a game, i'd love to goive his a try!!

  • "Don't be shy" LOL! this guy is hilarious

  • Ilike that you can move the ball around objects. Out when?

  • She's funny

  • Funny ha ha or funny odd?

  • Ha! - "You wanna get that checked" ;-)

  • I'd like to see if it could be used with different stuff, like if they will bring out more games for the same headset and if you can have two or more players.

  • what will they think of next?

  • Rocking idea!!!

  • i really like the idea of this. It's pretty simple and looks like great fun.

  • I don't want to be too obvious here buy how much fun would this be with a cat???

  • You cant get a cat through that hoop !

  • You can lead a cat to hoop but you can't make it hover! - as the saying goes;)

  • you can lead a cat to water

but you'll have to throw it in

  • the futures is coming, all I need is those xray specks and a hover car and all the promises the future made me will have come true - except living on the moon and a jet pack

  • Please correct me if I'm wrong (and I know someone will) there are games similar to this on the market already but perhaps this is the first one that combines the floating ball and the telekinesis?

  • yeah before the source of energy was a battery, it's still the same, but the on and off switch is just determined by whether or not that thing around your head detects brain activity, concentrate means higher electrical activity. It has nothing to do with telekinesis, it's completely deceptive. It makes you think you're controlling the ball but all your doing is turning on the power source.

  • How can there be any deception? They are not claiming that this is telekinesis, they are claiming that you can use the power of you brain to play the game - the activity in you brain is converted to a radio signal which controls a fan which controls a ball. ie you play with your brain - WHAT A GREAT IDEA!

  • Dont you use the power of your brain in most games. If your using an xbox your brain produces signals which produce analogue signals in your hands which input that information into a controller that produces a radio signal of greater variety than the fan and ball game which in turn is received and converted into a digital signal and so on and so forth being received by eyes and ears back to the brain good idea for a game not necessarily but I like FIFA 09 .. So speaks eh muddy stick boy !

  • think kids will go for this but i think parents may go for it even more as they'll think this is doing the kids some good?!

  • Pretty good use of a standard technology

  • it does remind me of something Mr Spock would be playing on startreck

  • Id love one of these , though I would probably just stare at it all day & never get anything done :)

  • This is very interesting but can someone tell me how it works exactly? I love the goofy headband...!! ; )))

  • Theyve come al long way since barbie!!

    Coolness :)

  • i imagine its pretty expensive,yeah? hope not, i want 1.!!! : p

  • *BRILLIANT*

This kind of technology could go very far not only for fun but to actually help people.

  • where have i seen this before?

something about it seems so familiar

  • Star Trek: The Next Generation?

  • This'll be bigger than the RUBICKS CUUUBE!!!

    Seriously...

    :)lol

  • I could never concentrate as well as her!!!

  • WOW! What a wonderful way to introduce kids to the deeper realms of concentration. Well done.

  • Dear pantanki - It's *just* a game, chill out. I can only imagine how you mustve reacted when Risk or Clue came out!! ( oops, I'm showing my age)...

  • i love risk . Clue ,we call it Cluedo in Uk perhaps its cos we are on the metric system ;-)

  • this is absolutley amazing.

  • I just want to wear the headset....

  • is this a joke !!

  • pantanki - is this a joke !!

They and so is the nintendo wii and the playstation, it's amazing the lengths companies will go to for a laugh!

  • Think ill wait until it has reached the "useful " stage of its evolutionary cycle .. This is like owning just the string part of a yoyo

  • it's a game, it's use is to have fun. The girl looks like she was having fun. Maybe you should wait from the internet to "evolve" before you use it ;)

  • Its video a marketing tool to allow the people of weak mental fibre to purchase their product ..Its an interesting overpriced novelty that will be picking up dust in the back of someones closet within the month ..Ps fun you can have for free ;-) like waiting for the replys to get personal

  • What??!! you mean this is an advert??!! Oh no, what ever next, they'll be putting these thing on tv. There'll be an entire industry based on this kind of thing...they could call it the advertising industry. You are a prophet and a scholar and apparently the world's "fun monitor" surly toys never end up picking up dust in the back of someones closet? More wisdom please... :) no seriously please, I can't wait!

  • Hey your doing all the work for me why stop .I cant wait for you to buy one just to prove me wrong . Funny thing is I have a better toy that works on electrical impulses from the brain ... its called a body and it can go outside and put real balls through real hoops and it can decide if a game is lame and it can levitate single digits if required !! In the end of the day its a free world if this is your thing cool and if i want to express my opinion apparantly not so cool.

  • Dear pantanki, you're so cute I could just roll you up into a little ball an levitate you!

Not only are you a little cutie but you're right, why bother with all this technology and invention when we already ARE God's perfect creation. Why build aeroplanes and submarines when we have birds and fish -I can just see you now in the corner of playground with your best stick and your favorite piece of mud when all the other children are listening to their ipods - there goes muddy stick boy they cry!

  • If you can find me a bird that i could fly " anywhere" on i would be there if theres leg room or a fish i could substitute for a submarine .. You have not really thought this one through ... Also using a stick as an ipod !?!?! although i do like the tag muddy stick boy ! If you really think this "game" is progress great it says more about you than muddy stick boy

  • Pantanki (muddy stick boy) there you go again with your super intellect! This must be what it was like to work with Darwin or study with Plato, I am truly honored and humbled.

Yes I think the is truly amazing progress like the splitting of the atom, the internal combustion engine or maybe even rivaling Einstein's theory of relativity .....or maybe it looks like it could be a fun game like Mousetrap, Simon, Operation or Battleships!

Careful, the sun's coming out, you don't want your mud to dry up

  • I think what your struggling to say is that sometimes there is a place for whimsy and folly like the Pogo stick , the Slinky the aforementioned yoyo and technologywise the Sinclair C5.. Things that arnt much use to anyone but a load of fun .. its been a load of fun DialanAngelino

  • I'm off to find my slinking and push it down the stairs!!

  • forget thses people pantanki your right

  • lol @ people getting angry because it's just a game and not some sort of serious tool for work or application.

If you don't want to buy a toy, then don't buy this thing. Simple as that.

  • Dear sexy would love it to be a toy but whole premise on which its sold is that your brain can fully control the ball with the brainwaves .. but we discover it only moves vertically . So i have just put my opinion is this still allowed .. You know those blow pipes with the net and ball you get in crackers same game ,same science only cheaper!!

  • lol Thats a good point..

There really is no bid deal. It's just a useless "game" that turns the brain into a very poor on/off switch! ... i wonder if it would work on mice...jk

  • I have tried you cant turn a mouse on with just your brain ... you have to rub its privates with your hand !! Sorry crass but true ! ;)

  • 睾科技啊

  • Shes a cutie- i wanna try it...the game that is

  • It moves according to your concentration but I dont know exactly what mechanics in the game itself keep the ball afloat...this is indeed coolest gadget Ive seen in a while.

  • I love that they've come out w/ this!! how does the headset work, it measures your thoughts?

  • No fucking way!! Wow! are you sure fishing wire isnt holding that ball up?

  • She must to lots of yoga:)

  • Like Uri Gellar bending spoons?????hhaaa

    What a seriously awesome toy.

  • ACE even thou it looks dorky!!! hahaJK

  • I really wish they had toys like this when I was littleLOL the best we had was a damn Big Wheel!!!

    haa

well done to Mindflex!!! id love to try it....

  • the best toy is still a big wheel they just send out subliminal messages to everyone so they go out and buy new things

  • it's just a toy? Stop crying

  • Niiiice

  • Of COURSE its not a hoax. You can see it working, think about it!!!!

  • Hmmmm - is it a hoax?

  • Who's the guy talking? he's funny - i cant wait to get my mitts on this toy, looks really bizarre!!!

  • Levitate...ha! Cool.

    She's WAY cute BTW.

  • I WANT ONE

  • I would wind up a total recluse if i owned one of these!! Looks like hours of time well spent :^)

When is it released to us mortals?

  • Wonderful...how can I use this technology to clean the house?

  • I saw the Harry Potter game too , but this seems to take it a bit further-

I wonder if 2 people can play? they should make one w/ 2 headsets.

  • Ok...HOW do you get the ball to float??!!!

  • the head set attaches to your head and reads your brainwaves the more you concentrate the higher the ball goes and when you relax it drops

  • Sweeeet...my nephew's gonna love this!!! AND me : )

  • This is incredibly coool! What fantastic technology- well done. I can't wait for this to come out!!!

  • i think its the end of society as we know it;)

  • No. waaaaaay!!!

I love this!!! Maybe this can help w/ my terrible attention span...; )

  • so awesome and it helps that she's seriously hot

  • pfunkitnow - "she's seriously hot"

  • WTF? is this serious?

  • This is similar to that Harry Potter games but you you can control the ball with a headset that reads your brain activity - more fun I think

  • Genius!

  • Oh what I could do with this. I hope that head band work on other stuff ;)

  • So it's controlled with mind up higher and lower and the dial around?
