*Irony!

*Grimaces (bad coffee faces, Castle on contemplating Mrs. Blaine as his Thanksgiving dinnermate, the detectives on first beholding the drug mule sans organs

*Corpses with shifting eyes (most noticeable on the dead bridesmaid from scene to scene)

*Ridiculously hi-res surveillance videos

*Precinct fights! (full-moon scene in particular)
