I was in dauphin at the time. When DR> Durren ran through the halls tellin the students to put their heads down i knew it was somethin bad. I was in the middle hallway, and i looked out the front window of the building and helplessly watched that fuckin tornado rip houses to shreds. that moment haunts me to this day.

Me and my family left for hurricane Francis and then we stayed for hurricane Jean and Jean was worse than Francis! We also stayed for Wilma(which was the next year)and Wilma seemed worse than Jeam even though Jean was a catagory 3(with wind gusts to a catagory 4) and Wilma was a 1 with wind gusts up to a 2! But Wilma did more damage!

Hurricanes are enormous, covering hundreds of miles with relatively slow winds (compared to a tornado). Tornadoes are much smaller, but enormously destructive near their path.
