Now we all look back with rose colored glasses at how wonderful we all thought things were compared to these "complicated times." These kids today will look back in 20 years and say the same thing. "Things were better when I was younger." The problem is adulthood; Having responsibility is tough and most people are too soft to handle it.

On a different note artists have every right to play and say what they feel but artists should remember; the words that come out of their mouth with the help of good music will influence listeners accordingly. Yes, they were unlike anything on the radio at the time. 1989-91 had become virtually nothing but grunge and boy bands in response to the 80's music. All I Want was the first song at the time that was just a song, not hard, not fake, just guys playing and singing a song. Given their history of self making 2 albums before this, you could see that they were not just doing what they were they and everyone else were told to do.
