I didn't know you could mod an old gameboy to play chiptune music! I have an original first generation game boy with the carrying case that I keep in my cubicle :) It's awesome as a late 20-something to pull it out and play it on lunch or on breaks.

I have an M-Audio Axiom 49 and just use garageband on my mac for it :-/ I have the chiptune plugin for garageband, but none of the buttons or features on the keyboard work. One of those times when it sucks being a mac user...

I recorded everything (piano, vocals, Gameboy) with Audacity. I recorded the piano on a Casio keyboard just through the line-in. I also recorded the chiptune through the line-in from the actual hardware on my Gameboy Color with a USB cart running LSDJ. And vocals with a USB mic. I pieced it all together with an old copy of Adobe Audition.
You have a beautiful voice! I like this better than the original, haha :)
