  • Hello father

  • that mesopatamia quote is a lie every time they always try to act like mesopatamia is older than egypt which is so false every thing sumer babylon and all of that got taught through mystery systems in egypt martial arts actually started at least 20,000 years ago in africa MAINLY EAST BY THE NILE

  • all you people saying east asian martial arts are the original ones or watever, all those came from southern india

  • No Dula Meketa? No Reisy/Tesla?

  • Do you really think that a front kick and reverse punch in thousands of years of fighting science was only found in a small Island of Japan hmmm. The fighting arts have been found in eygptian carvings oops I wont go on further its best you do your on research but becare of blaket statements.

  • we all know that fighting arts have been found in egyptian carvings but if u did your research u would know that martial arts have been found on carvings that predate the carvings in egyp by over a thousand years in modern day mesypitamia.. which is in asia

  • if it is give me some proof not just your sayin it where can i find this information where mesopotamia is older than egypt

  • why dont u go research it they have extream evidence for one mesopotamia is the first nation to have writen word

  • @actionmanrandell who is "they"? If you believe half of the stuff in the history books (especially American History books) then you aren't living.

  • @JaePhoenix7 bull

  • @actionmanrandell Correct. Some truths, yet a lot of bull. Glad you know.

  • all they were doing is KARATE a bit of okinawin karate aswell as some shotokan nothing more then that.... wich all are japanese systems of martial arts not ethiopian

  • STOP THINKING WITH A WESTERN MIND.

common sense will tell you martial arts existed for at least 3,000 years on numerous continents

  • i did not say that martial arts was created in japan and i know that martial arts was round for a lot longer then 3000 years the truth is there are carvings in anchiant cities in what now is iran... and anchint cuneform pictographs around mesipatania which is in asia.....the most historical evidence shows marital arts was created in asia around iraq iran and in israel aswell and anyways all that was was forms of karate which originaly came from china...

  • the premise that martial art started in china is foolish too. you're assuming that no other group on the planet developed a system of protecting themselves with empty hands.

  • i never said martial arts started in china.. never once did i say that.. i said it did not start in africa.. i simply said that earlest forms of martial arts are recorded to be in mesypetamia not africa infact is even said that as long as there been wars there has been systems of martial arts so u need to read before u say anything

  • you're still assuming that people didn't engage in empty handed combat prior to physical record. nubia predates mesopotamia by more than 1000yrs; the neolithic era (aka the new stone age). in case you didn't know, ethiopia & nubia are essentially the same place. perhaps you should read. it was not the assyrians or the chinese who originated martial art. my original point is this. since we all have the same anatomy, every culture will arrive at the same conclusion as it applies to martial art...

  • ...simply put, there's a reason that sun tzu, miyamoto musachi arrived the exact same conclusion. there's a reason that their principles are identical to the strategies used at the battle of thermopalae. do you feel me yet?

  • ...to amend that last point, there's a good reason that 52 blocks, dambe & JKD all have the same principles although the differ in stylistic approach. there's a reason that testa shares the same principles as wushu. because all are an artistic way of warfare. don't mire yourself down with some nonsense about origin because that's a practice of the western construct. discussing evolution of art & it's true artistic intent is the pursuit of a real scholar. peace

  • dude. first off no one was saying that we know where martial arts originated.. i was just saying that it didnt originate in egypt. and anyways that whole thing about a true schooler is someone who purues the artistc intent is bullshit.. no one gets into martial arts just for the art.. its about combat and building a better person through it not a damn artistic aplication

  • i think you may a little wrong about some of that. it is ultimately about the art. some may get into them for other reasons but once oyu reach a true understanding it's not about the fight. in fact, that's kind of an afterthought. it's about art & understand self while understanding of the other. my examples were designed for you to step back & peep a bigger scene. the reason for all those parallels that i mentioned is simple: eventually, all humans come to the same critical conclusions.

  • ...what i'm saying about where things originate is that we all started at 1 point & evolved. therefore everything is a point of departure. i'm not dissing you or your knowledge base. i'm asking you to be that flexible, ready & resourceful artist (def. creative person) and look at people. art is universal for us

  • I am one of many black people in the world who admire your country don't let haters winde you up.
