I agree. I saw her in concert, back in the day. Her voice then & now crystal clear. She can hold a note. After many got on her "gravy train" & took advantage of her sweet soul & voice and tried to change her, in a way that was not her. Remaining a lady, she knew it was enough. Upon returning to her concerts and shows, she { bit more wiser} controled her destiny. What a journey she has had. Still after all these years, no one can come close to her gifted talented voice.

Totally agree! It's a shame that young people nowadays look on flamboyant plasticky celebs like Lady Gaga and Paris Hilton, who don't have amazing voices by any means to be honest, - as a means of expression. As opposed to 60 year- olds like Donna Summer who can still actually sing the majority of female performers under the table.

Tom Jones is a good example too. Even at 70 his voice is an emotional heavy to most of today's featherweights.
