@solidsnackumzzz yeah maybe in the first playthrough. but i literally beat MGS4 all the way through, 14 times. that act sucked so bad. while in acts 1 and 2, there was always variety and i found something new each time. act 4 was very memorable, and act 5 was nice and short and i love that ending.

@solidsnackumzzz Meh, Act 1 was good, but too short. Act 2 took a dive after Laughing Octopus. The survival thing was cool the first time through, but it got pretty stale afterwards. They should have made it more expansive, with different end locations.

Following the resistance member was a nice throwback to MG2, but again, it got stale after a while. And since that's the most you do in the act...

Raging Raven was cool though.

Act 4 was pretty much "LOL NOSTALGIA!!!"

Act 5 was a movie.

Big Boss was naked Snake in MGS 3, and an agent. after he killed the boss, wikipedia Metal Gear Solid 3, he and his commander, Zero, had a falling out. they parted, both misinterpreting The Boss' final will. Snake, now Big Boss, created FOXHOUND and Outer Heaven, while Zero made the Patriots and authorized Naked Snake's cloning, forming Liquid, Solid, and Solidus Snake. Big Boss was Solid Snake's commander in Metal Gear (not MGS), and foiled Boss' plan of New World Order. Hope this helps!!

the nanomachines were deactivated and since they controlled the soldiers so completely for such a long time, the sudden deactivation of the nanomachines caused them to feel extreme regret and guilt.

Kust picture this you kill many people and suddenly, all that guilt gets crushed onto you.

its like post traumatic stress disorder but it's amplified greatly.
