I saw Dave Mathews open for Blues Traveler in '93 and having never heard of them before was blown away by a short but dynamic 45 minute set. At one point the fiddle player was riding on the bassist's shoulders as they played. Amazing! And damn did he fly through bows.

For this to be performed when Dave was so young, he sure sounds old. Thanks for posting. Maybe he's reserved for a reason. He once stated that guest singers shouldn't attempt to 'outshine' the featured artist. (not one of my favorites) but I rate it AWESOME for DAVE!
