Maybe close in this particular version (Regina was nervous and wasnt singing with her usuall vocal ability), but as a singer in general regina is very powerful with a huge vocal range, and is at the same time instrumentaly tallented. The young irish girl has a pretty voice that is very pleasant, but she is not nearlly as vocally matured as Regina.(at least not yet)

I've been listening to Regina Spektor for years and I didn't know she was Jewish...just looked it up. Wow, she has a crazy life story. Her family fled the Soviet Union in 1989 because of the intense discrimination against Jews and eventually made it to the states through the Hebrew Immigration Aid Society. She speaks fluent Russian and reads Hebrew. I love her so much more now.
