I don;t know how many of the people in this audience knew how fortunate they were to be seeing and hearing Lonnie Donegan. He influenced so many of the great musicians we know today. What a treat . . and what fun he was.
just don't make musicians like this any more. This is a guy who clearly loved music and he knew that it could make people happy and he took advantage of that. God Bless ya Lonnie.
