Hun Sen is Cambodia's Thaksin. He has always gotten small share of votes from educated section of the country. But he's pretty popular in countryside because he forces his corrupted officials to dish out corrupt money to build infrastructures in countryside.

When it comes to corruption, Thaksin and the democrats are probably the same. Thailand is one of the most corrupted countries too. And Thaksin alone cannot achieve such a feat.

Kasit Pirom is the current (2009) Minister of Foreign Affiairs of Thailand.

Mr. Pirom was an active participant and frequent speaker at the PAD rallies that overtook the Government House and forced closures of 2 Thai Airports in 2008. The PAD demonstrations, especially the seizer of Bangkoks Suvarnabhumi International Airport, caused billions of USD of damages to Thai economy and greatly affected thousands of foreigners.
