i dont think ur weavile should b holding the life orb, i mean its useful but weaviles have a already low hp to worry about plus a lot of type weaknesses. u should just attack and speed ev train him and give him maybe focus band to prevent him from being KOed cause of his low def, hp and the type weaknesses.

Maybe expert belt is better. Focus sash is taken down by switch hazards, and focus band is too unreliably. Life orb seemed good enough, as Weavile's attack is just under destructive =P

oh, i actually meant focus sash :P my bad. well i mean its up to u but i did some research and figured that muscle band might b good for wevile since only his phys attack is strong. but as i said its up to u :P thats just what i would do :D

Are you sure that EV stuff is true? I guess everyone seems to believe it but it never mentions anything about it in the pokemon walkthrough books.

And also, when I was training my pokemon I used alot of physical attacks and it went up +3 when he leveled, but when I didn't use any and he leveled from pure sharing it still got +3 physical attack, so wtf? You know each level gains different stats, I know cause I've leveled alot from pure sharing and the pokemon didn't even do shit.

No, EV training is true. There's no denying it. I even have a guide here on youtube =P

But anyway, it's definitely true. Your problem is actually a common one. EVs take gradual effect until lv. 100. This means, the lower level your pokemon, the lower your stat gains will be. In fact, it's likely you won't even notice the EVs taking effect, but they are.

Like, you could put 200 EVs into a level 2 pokemon and it might only get +3. By level 100, it will show.

Actually the pokemon I was training was my giratina either in the 70s 80s or 90s using shadow claw alot lol. But I think the problem was that you don't get EVs for using a move, you get EVs for fainting a pokemon that drop certain EVs. (at the time I thought attack would improve more if you used physical attack moves, but not I know thats not the case) And since I was killing a bunch of random pokemon, its no wonder I didn't notice it since I didn't get neough EVs from one type.

Furthurmore if ur pokemon gains different stats than someone else on that same level, it could mean you caught it at a different level/nature etc.

Though pokemon gain more stats if you get them at a lower level,

Uber legends get caught at a high level, but they are still mad strong if you use them right.

Also, the level a pokemon is caught at means nothing. For example, if I train a level 7 Lapras and a level 57 Lapras, and give them the same EVs. Then as long as IVs and Nature are the same, those two pokemon will have the same stats by level 100.

Wild pokemon essentially just have no EVs. Since there's a limited number of EVs you can give, it doesn't matter when you start giving them.

you need tu capture the a,z,e,l and f unknowns put them in your party and then talk to the kid that's in the hause where you get the seal case and he will give you seals that are like the unkown you have in your party then just put'em on a ball capsule and attach it to azelf

have one of you guys ever have an error on pokemon gold.There was a trainer with kadabra lv240 with petal dance attack (grass move) my pokemon were all killed only my lv100 charizard

survived because he is flying and fire type so no grass attack will hurt himand kadabra doesnt have low defence .I get 0 exp after defeating it,the trainer was on the second map where giovani was the 8 boss badge in old fire blue yellow version and gary was on gold and silver?
