Me thinks Meshuggah and Devin Townsend are equal in terms of musical-awesomeness. I rate "Detox" on the same level as "New Millenium Cyanide Christ". They are both great but for different reasons.

Awesome! Going to see Devy with Meshuggah as support on Feb 28. First saw Devin with Strapping Young Lad many moons ago touring the City album. Been a fan ever since. From Australia.

@LOSPIRIT1 I meant that it should be the other way around, that's all ;P Devin is great and amazing and I would lick his butt any day, but he just can't quite reach the concentrated awesomeness that is Meshuggah.

@KaliumMusic All good mate, yeah Meshuggah are a pretty awesome force. Maybe the music Devin does these days is more well rounded due to his sobriety. If you ever saw SYL in their prime though, they would definitely hang with Meshuggah.

@KaliumMusic Id rather see Meshuggah open for Devin myself.Love em but not on the same level as Devin.Also kinda weird that Devin would want to be closing a show after Meshuggah considering how hes often called them the greatest band ever.You'd think he'd want them to headline.
